We've had a large Graco stroller for the last 4 years and it's been on 6 trips to Disney. It had really taken a beating but it still worked. But after reading all the rave reviews about the Maclaren strollers....I convinced my husband to go for the Quest.

We just got back from Disney and it was the best thing we've purchased for a trip in a long time!! It was light weight and easy to carry off and on the buses (our Graco was bulky and awkard). It moved like a dream! And our daughter thought it was very comfy! She just turned 4....she's just shy of 40 inches and weighs 35 pounds. I love knowing I've got 15 more pounds to go on it with her.

We didn't have to use the rain shield....but we tried it at home and she thought it was a cool "tent" to be under (verses being covered up by a rain poncho).

The basket underneath was roomy and the sunshields ablility to move to where she needed coverage was great! Plus whenever she got "grumpy"....she'd just pull it over herself and then we didn't have to look at a sour face :rotfl2:

Again....thanks to everyone who shared their stroller suggestions! I'm one more person on the list who raves about the Maclaren Quest!!

I love mine, too. The rain shield was a nightmare when our baby was there last time - she was around 18 months and HATED it. But the stroller is a lifesaver, for sure.

Glad you had a good trip and that the Mac made it easy for you. We feel like Maclarens are worth it.

We broke down and bought a Maclaren Quest before our trip last August. DH tells people about it now...he is a teacher, and lots of the female teachers have been having babies the past year...he tells them to consider buying this one right off the bat, that it took us till our 4th (and last) child to quit buying almost-as-expensive "deluxe" strollers, and get this one instead. We had 3 kids under 55 lbs with us (ages 6, 3, and 5). They took turns.

Heck, if it were only a little bigger, I would have taken a turn in it too! And I bet it STILL would have pushed and steered just as easily! :rotfl2:
