Thank You, Thank You, UPDATED 8-30

I was headed out to my 6 year old niece's birthday party and as I was going down the driveway I saw a huge yellow and red box on my porch. The mailman didn't ring my bell so I had no idea what was in it.
It was made out to Peggi Dennehy with no return address and from the Disney Store. I knew right away it was my wonderful friends.
I opened the box to see the most dismal Donald ever. He has hangdog eyes, a blanket over his head and tissues in his hands. A box of tissues between his legs with a tissue that says "Get Well Soon Peggi"
It cheered me up more than any pin would. I am so lucky to be able to call all of you my friends. I need to thank Susan (Figgy) especially for being the one to send Donald to me, and all of you who contributed for him.
I will be hearing the final news tomorrow. The Dr will tell me what stage the cancer is and how he will be treating it. I will post tomorrow, but knowing I have all of you praying for me makes it alot easier.
I haven't had a meltdown since last Sunday and have come to accept the diagnosis. Now with all my friends on my side I know I will come out of this stronger.
Thank you all for being there for me. I plan on leaning on you all again, and I am glad to know you will be there for me.

UPDATE--- Well, the word came in this morning. It is what I thought it was. Still a little numb right now but I know with all your good wishes and prayers I can and will get rid of the evil that is growning inside me.
I will see the Dr tomorrow for the attack plan. Thank you all for keeping me in your prayers.

Peggie, I know you don't know me from Adam, but you sound like a fighter with a great attitude, and I wish you the best of luck in this fight. Two of my dear friends battled breast cancer in their late 20s/early 30s, and are now celebrating 10 years of being cancer free.
