On the DIS boards, there are "Tag Fairies" that watch what you say. It can be something funny you said, or venting about something. They take that saying and put it under your name. I think yours says, "Earning your ear".

Don't feel bad, I've been here a long time and I am even a "Trip Reports Moderator" and I don't even have a Tag.

Nope, sorry to disappoint you, everyone automatically goes from "Earning your Ears" to "Mouseketeer" and then you graduate to "DIS Veteran" when you hit 500 posts. Tags are another thing entirely - usually in color, always very personal to you - it will either quote you or refer to something you said.

Tags are special, elusive, and a result of a little bit of pixie dust. Also, I have discovered that no amount of groveling will help. Sometimes bribes do work, though. (Although the Tag Fairies aren't even interested in my fabulous homemade caramels. )

I think being a DIS Veteran is pretty cool all on it's own, though!
