We have been down here for a week now and have gone to Rockin' Baja Coastal Cantina in Newport Beach 2 times now!

:thumbsup2

It was a great place to eat and can't wait until our next visit. The food was great and the prices even better. They have happy hour from 3 to 6 everywhere in the place.... lots of meals are 1/2 off regular prize. Nachos were $5.00 instead of $9.99 and the guacamole and chips were $4 instead of $7.99. It was freshly made and was huge. Even at $7.99 it was a mound of guac!! Sizes stay the same just prices go in 1/2.

There was even a meal called the Golden Sombrero. The menu says it is the best of Baja built for two! You get 8 oz angus flat iron steak; 1/2 dozen grande Baja-style shrimp; 1 1/4 lb seasonal lobster; grilled marinated chicken breat; 1 lb sweet luscious king crab legs; char-grilled corn on the cob. Looks more like enough food for 4! We saw two guys next to us eat it all!! Cost $59.99....
They also make killer margaritas....
Give it a try next time you are visiting SoCal
Thanks for the suggestion Disneyland podcast crew
