Thank you DIS boards

This is the second family trip I've planned for our family of three, me, DW and DD(13). The last trip was back in 2005 and we stayed at ASMo. This time it's POFQ, and we leave in 8 DAYS!!!!

Last time I thought I was an expert, booking all my reservations in advance, and I knew all things Disney. You see, I had read a book *nods*

This time I found DIS boards, and without you folks, I'd never have known about the Wishes Dessert Party (booked!), how best to utilize the DDP, park strategies, rope drop, resort offerings, room requests and so on. We have our power bar packed, sponges with detergent for our resort mugs, PhotoPass+ ready to go and are prepared for whatever might happen.

So thanks again! A great site and a great place for people like me to learn and get excited about all kinds of things I never knew existed!

I totally agree!! I am trying to prepare for my first ever trip to WDW in May and I am soooooooo glad that I found DISboards! I just can't get enough of all the great tips. Thanks to everyone for ALL the info.

Also, joining the DIS sure has increased my excitement and anticipation for my trip.
