Just before the kids went out for Christmas break, one of DS's teachers handed all the kids a homework pass. DS put it on the fridge for safe keeping.
Last night, his homework was to rewatch the inauguration and write a pargraph about it. As he was telling me about it, I groaned for him. Tuesdays are pretty heavy with activities, and we don't get home until almost 8PM. Anything that requires DS to think about something, like writing a paragraph on the Inaugaration, takes a long time. He watched it in math class, and begged the teacher for work. (He got a suduko puzzle) He told me politics are b-o-r-i-n-g. I was really dreading this for him. He then tells me, he is going to use his homework pass. YAY! It's a good thing he has learned to save them for when he may want it. He used to use them up as soon as the teacher gave them out.
