Thank goodness! BCV was available!

So we had our home resort booked booked at Kidani for Oct. 21-28. We decided to go down a day early and have waited for our 7 month window to get into either BCV or BWV. BCV was our first choice because we haven't been there in forever and of course the F&WF location can't be beat. Well I logged in today and snatched a 2 br villa...I checked 6 mins later after that was confirmed and there were none available! That was fast! Now I just need to call tomorrow to add on the 28th. Phew! I had been agonizing over this the last few months. I'm so excited to stay here again...I don't think we've done DVC...just regular guest rooms

Lucky me - I must've grabbed the only other 2 bedroom available for the 20th - the night before our cruise. So psyched!

As an update, we were able to add on our extra day this morning. Officially going to be there 9 days 8 nights! On to plan our ADRs now

I was able to switch to a 1 bdrm at BWV for that same week in Oct

We had our 1st stay at BWV last year and LOVED the location, especially during F&WF!

Can I tell you that I am a tiny bit jealous? I REALLY have enjoyed our BWV stays (and even our BWI ones). DH really wanted to do BCV this trip which I am really excited about, but I'm so used to BWV I'm kinda torn. Of course I'm not complaining or anything, but it is so quiet and peaceful over there and just a hop-skip-jump to Jellyrolls.

Did you book a preferred room? If I may make a suggestion, the rooms overlooking the quiet pool are awesome! That's where we were last month and NEVER stepped over to the clown pool (which I find too packed and loud). We wanted a relaxing vacation and the quiet pool gave us just that!

I am most looking forward to SAB, the BC smell, and super easy walk to IG.

Well I'm jealous of your quick walk from BCV to IG!

We did book a preferred room and I put in a request for a quiet pool room. Not only for the quietness, but also because we get a rental car and want to be close to the parking lot. We had a quiet pool room last year and it was very nice! We visited the clown pool with our DD. I wouldn't want to have a room overlooking that area though. It's far too noisy.
