As you know, I finally booked our cruise yesterday. Good thing too. Because when my DH brought in the mail there was our $700 bill for dues. We had Nov & Dec 2001 added on this years because we just joined. And there was a $200 bill for a long weekend trip this coming July.

Don't forget you have the option of monthly payments on the 2002 dues, no finance charge. Must be debited from your bank account.

My total dues for BWV are $974.83, the monthly payment is $81.24 (sounds alot better!).

Thats a major drawback of the monthly coupons. The annual dues need to be paid in a lump sum. And right after the holidays and a Dec cruise it's not easy. But I did put money aside for this because I knew it was coming.

We own at VWL also and we have dues taken monthly from our checking account. I just enjoyed the fact that the dues went down, not up. In fact, I said YIPEEE :bounce:

Your bill may be less than last year because of the amount of overpaid real estate taxes refunded. The actual VWL dues went UP 5%. $3.63 per point in 2001 vs. $3.80 per point in 2002.

Here are the 2002 vs. 2001 dues for all:

OKW = $3.22 vs. $3.13
BWV = $3.92 vs. $3.83
VWL = $3.80 vs. $3.63
HH = $3.49 vs. $3.32
Vero= $4.17 vs. $3.97
