With the recent passing of Cheshire Figment came an outpouring of thanks from fellow DIS'ers he had helped. I recently told my mom how thankful I am for everything she and my dad did for me (I don't think I ever told my dad that in as many words, but I think he did know it). And a friend just sent me a lovely note following her MIL's funeral, thanking me for our friendship. I'm making my New Years' resolution early this year: I'm going to start telling people more often how much I appreciate the things they do for me. And I'm starting this thread to thank a few DIS'ers. Maybe others will do the same. :)

Thanks yulilin3 for all the great SWW info. When I read the cancellation thread, I remembered how much your info helped me plan our first and now only SWW trip. Thank you!

Thanks to mom2rtk and HockeyMomNH for sharing all their awesome craftiness and inspiring me to paint our MagicBands last year--we so enjoyed showing them off. Thank you both!

And thanks to Poohj80 for being my best Disney pal--the one who never thinks I'm crazy for planning vacations three years out and who will "talk Disney" anytime, even when she has WAY more important things to think about. Thank you!

What a nice thing to say. Thanks cgattis! :flower3:

What a nice idea! Love me a local vettegirl met on these boards. And her adorable Donald! Talking to you Lori.

Robo, you helped me a ton with your maps and knowledge of some of the best strategies to make a vacation the best it can be. For a family that does not go often (once every decade) it was important to me that I knew the little things I could to make the trip that much better! I will always think of you when it comes to CTM especially. Thank you!

hiroMYhero, you were soo patient and helpful when it came time for this rookie to make fast passes. Thank you!

Thanks ScrapYap for the maximize FP+ thread!!!! I have a two extra sets of MB for me and DD and we will be making NBFPs!!!! Three co-workers will also have two extra sets and will be making NBFPs. Wish us luck!!!

Thanks @yulilin3. But mostly thanks for everything you've done to keep the Star Wars thread up to date and accurate each year. You've put so much time and effort into it and it's greatly appreciated! And I refer to the first page often as it's easier to search there than to google!

Such a great thread! Of course, thanks to @Robo for great maps, transport info, and humor. @mom2rtk for suggestions on good parade viewing spots esp for photos. @mesaboy2 naturally, for the amazing FP+ tutorial and so much patience in answering so many repeat questions! @RustManFan for some wonderful t-shirt designs, wish I had a ton more names ready at hand - I don't recall the DIS'er who always had great details on how best to sign up for JTA, and numerous other folks on the Creative DISigns board for pressed penny containers and shirt designs, too many to count here on TPAS who are willing to go into minutiae for all of us looking to maximize our trips!!

This is a great opportunity to thank everyone who has helped me so much especially in planning for our most recent trip. I feel like I've been on the Disboards for a long time, but with so many firsts for this trip and all of the extra planning required now, I've spent more time on the Dis than ever. I have found many specific posters to be incredibly helpful, but have also found communities within threads where it would be hard to name everyone. So I wanted to give a shout out to a few Dis'ers but also everyone in a few threads that have provided so much great info!

A huge thank you to @LouFapp, @smitch425, @5kidsmommy, @donp, and everyone else in the 2015 Free Dining and a Whole Lot More thread who answered so many of my questions and helped me book FD for the first time. That's probably my first and only thread that I read from beginning to end. Staying up most the night with everyone was so exciting!

Thank you @mesaboy2 for your FP+ thread and @Cluelyss and everyone else there for your input as well. It was so helpful in booking FP+ for the first time!

Thanks you to everyone on the Pop Question and Answer thread for helping us pick POP and answering so many of our questions. @SPOERLX3 is so quick to help and share maps of POP. She's the Robo for that thread!

Speaking of @Robo, I echo the thanks for the maps and information on everything from transportation to what to wear. Your insights are always appreciated!

Also thanks go out to:

@Maleficent Dragon and everyone on the December Help Thread. It's been fun planning December trips with you!

Everyone who has taught me so much about the DDP on the DDP board since it's our first time using it!

Everyone on the BOG ADR thread. It was fun sharing the anticipation, and I appreciated the heads up for when breakfast ADR's opened up.

@HopperFan and @TheRustyScupper for your posts on menus, restaurants, and dining!

Pretty much everyone on the Dis for sharing their strategies especially for those 7 AM EMH rope drops and @Babe the Blue Ox for your late night EMH tips. I think they will save us from the Christmas crowds!

Thanks so much for helping us plan this trip. It's such an important one as I don't know when we will all have the chance to be back altogether as an extended family. I already know that it's been made extra magical because of all of your help! :thanks: :disrocks:
