Hello, I have just booked a trip for February. We are arriving by Eurostar but flying home from CDG. I would like to use the TGV to get to the airport and wondered how other people have got on doing this and also whether I should book tickets here or buy them at the station?
Thanks - Julie

its my favourite way of getting from DLP to CDG :goodvibes. I buy my tickets before I go (either on sncf or rail europe websites) - 10 days in advance or earlier gets you the best online prices. You get your tickets sent to your home address so you don't have to collect them anywhere. It really is only a 10-minute journey, and so you can leave DLP 2 hours or so before your flight is due to depart, and know that you will still have plenty of time to check in/reach your departure gate etc.

ah thanks I was wondering this too

we are flying to Disney for the first time in March and was wondering about transfers

someone said that CDG airport and tthe railway station are huuuuge ?! so I was a bit worried lol

CDG is big - it has one huge terminal and 2 smaller ones. The train station isn't huge though, and if you're arriving at terminal 2 its in the middle of the main gates, so its only 10-15 minutes walk. From terminal 1 you need to add a little more time, as you need to take the internal train service between terminals (this runs all day).

I've never got lost in CDG yet - its just like any other airport, the signs are the same :).

You might be cheaper (and it will be more convenient) using a shared shuttle though, especially if any of your TGV times are in a peak time period. Thats what we did earlier this month, booked a shared shuttle from CDG to DLP wth RStransports, then took the TGV back.

We took TGV from Disney to CDG yesterday. It really is easy, quick and hassle free. We also booked in advance to get the best deal.

Which ever way you choose to go, have a fabulous time!
