TGV/Private Shuttle?

Hello,

We're off to dlp in June and are flying for the first time. We usually go by eurostar but way too expensive by the time we'd booked and that was in Sept!!

My question is do we transfer by TGV or Ezysuttle. It will be 3 adults and 1 child (4yrs old).

Any advice very much appreciated

Having done both I would do a transfer.

Easy picked up right from where you arrive taken right to the door of your hotel. They provide car seats for little ones!

Not sure how much TGV would be but I would even pay more for a transfer!

I'd go for TGV if it's much cheaper (you do save money) and if there's not much waiting time for TGV (arrival time, TGV departure time). Otherwise I'd go for transfer.

I checked the TGV Price, and i got something around 100€ for 2 parents and 2 kids.
Thats quite expensive i think.

Have you got diffrent prices ?

Ezyshuttle quote around 140 euros return. This does depend on time/no of people etc. But that is an average. For the extra 40 euros I would prefer door to door transfer but that is me . With two young children and baggage it is much easier than possibly waiting around for TGV etc.

I've used Ezyshuttle before and found them brilliant. Using them again next trip - booked as soon as I had booked my flights . Also, John, the owner is Irish so speaks perfect English but knows lots about the place etc. Quite useful.

I think the first trip we used RS Transports who were good the way to DLRP, but forgot the baby seat on the return trip Baby was only 6 months at the time! Can't remember what we did but we did end up with a seat - think he managed to get one from someone else around the resort at the same time. Kind of put me off .

It all depends on what time your train is and how far in advance you reserve.

The TGV is the fastest way to DLP as once you are on the train it's 10 minutes but it could be better value and easier for you (depending on the ages of your children plus the number of bags )to take a shuttle at least one way

Thanks for the replies, I think we'll go with ezyshuttle.

10 mins travel time on the TGV was swaying me but by the time we get to the station both ends and get the bus to the hotel it'll be longer than direct transfer.
