TFW Meet 2008 The Mission: Wiener Salad & Margaritas - Trip Report Links on Page 1

Hello Weiner Friends!

I'm sorry to say that we won't be able to attend Weinerfest. :sad1: Our AP's expire 8/18 and we just aren't able to renew this year. I know you guys will have lots of fun!!!

Well this just bites. Sorry you are not able to make it. Can you send out a flat of yourself to someone?

Okay, now listen... my panties weren't running amuck - I use them as "filler" to stuff every spare millimeter of space in my suitcase! Which, when flying, is critical because I bring as much as humanly possible in my carry-on. No joke, as of today I'm running at about 70% of all flights having lost my luggage. I'm cursed.

Speaking of which...

I won't be flying to WDW, but my new suitcase arrived and it's PERFECT! this is it: Skyway Montage 22" I think it'll be the perfect size for me and Leo really needs his own bag at this point, so he'll get my old, smaller rolling bag.

I have managed to avoid packing this weekend, but it wasn't easy. ;)

17 Fuzzy days left! :woohoo:

Oh, and I agree - I do think 4pm in America was the time. BUT, there's like NO shade there. I'll be sporting a lime green umbrella. ::yes::

Oh no s'latey, I'm so sorry! :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: Will you still be in WDW? Can we catch you later?

If we cheat and meet by the cs place there are umbrellas at the tables;)

We may still go 8/16-8/23. Things are so up in the air right now. We had a big family trip planned for Dec (had it planned since March) and then one of my BIL's got engaged in May. Well, his fiance (super sweet girl) wanted a Nov wedding and the only date avail is 11/29.....the day before our big trip. I offered them a DVC studio as our gift (if they want to homeymoon at Disney). I don't want to be a big you know what, but this just stinks. So we may call off the Dec trip and use our points in Aug.

But, the reason we can't buy AP's is because our washer has been leaking for an unknown period of time. We have laminate in the laundry and hall which has started to warp. I noticed the warp when we returned from our May trip, but just thought, "oh cheap laminate." Not sure yet what damage is done and how much washer repair will be IF it can be repaired.

Well that just sucks! :headache: Since you will possibly be there around the same(ish) time, let me know and perhaps we can have a mini-re-meet! ;)

That is a bummer!

So that means only one person hasn't gotten me a picture.......hint hint

:rotfl2:

Kat, I can't find one of all five of us together (I know, shameful. I really need to adopt Lauralee's "Oh look! Photopass!) ;) Do you want us in parts, or shall I keep looking?

Does everyone have their tickets? I just read on mousesavers that there is a rumor the prices are going up (AGAIN) on August 3rd.

We bought annual passes for JUST US when we went in June. The kids aren't coming this trip so we just go them 3 day passes for our trip in June and we'll get them another 3 or 4 day pass for Dec.

Thanks for the heads up though!

Okay I feel horrible doing this but I am pulling out of the Biergarten dinner. I have been thinking about it for a while and have consulted my family. It was not an easy decision to make and it has nothing to do with any of you. The only reason I am pulling out of the dinner is that we do not want to spend roughly $150 to eat a restaurant, no matter how good the company, where all we would eat is the roast chicken, we have looked at the menu and all the pictures and the food really is unappealing to us boring eaters.

I plan on showing up to the pre-meal meet though and maybe catching Illuminations with those still in the park as I still very much want to meet you all. There is also the Petals meet on the Sunday where I will get to see a lot of you as well. Also looking at peoples plans we will be in the same parks/restaurants as a lot of you so even though we will not be at the big meal there will still be plenty of little Focker meets to look forward to. :goodvibes
