Does anyone remember when this was available last year? I hope they are going to offer it again - it helped keep track of my husband and when we could expect to see him run by us...

You can ignore this - I should have checked the endurance series site first!

I just signed up my email and my husbands cell to get the updates and the confirmation email I received back says:

Thank you for signing up to receive free athlete updates on race day for the Walt Disney World Marathon on January 12, 2009. In order to complete the signup process, you must confirm this address one of the following ways:

I hope the date is just a typo and I get my updates on January 9, 2010.

I signed up and got a text message with a confirmation code to enter in on the site but haven't received anything after that.

One thing to keep in mind - the email updates don't always arrive in a timely manner. A couple of years ago my DH at home was getting them, but my DD in WDW with me was not. She was starting to panic until DH started texting her directly. She got all the updates after I had finished the full.

Does anyone know at which mile markers they will be sending alerts out? It may have been on the site somewhere and I just missed it.

I plan on cheering somewhere between the TTC and the contemporary and want that extra heads up !!

Thanks

I have the same question.

I can tell you that last year for the Half the splits were at 5K, 10K, 15K, and finish. I'm wondering how it is for the Full. Do they just continue every 5K up until the finish, or is it different intervals for the Full?

Thanks!

5 mile, 10 mile, half and 20 mile.

Knowing this one now knows where the intermediate timming mats are located. :confused3

I signed up so that my Dh will get my times on his phone (haven't told him though!!!)......that way he knows how long i'm going to have to wait for him.:lmao:
