Has anyone used their Bell Mobility phone in WDW to text message another Bell Mobility phone also at WDW? Obviously this does work.

I have been told there are roaming charges to do this because both phones are out of the serving area (in this case 416 numbers).

Can anyone let me know if they have done this and if so are there additional charges.

Yes there are additional charges you get hit with roaming charges I think it totals about a buck a message.

Do you know if this is only if both phones are in the U.S.A.? There were no additional charges when I sent messages from WDW to Toronto.

If your phone has 10-4 capabilities then it cost nothing to talk as you are not making a phone call. But as soon as you type in a number you pay. We used the 10-4 alot and only got one roaming cost as my daughter called instead of 10-4ing.

Just got our last bill from our trip...we only had roaming charges on the actual calls that were made, not text messages. Sending and receiving text messages was the same cost as usual.
