DH and I like Texas Roadhouse. Their rolls and cinnamon butter are absolutely to DIE FOR!!!! My favorite thing on the menu is the Smothered Chicken (grilled chicken breast topped with swiss cheese and sauteed mushrooms).... MMMMMM!
In all, it's pretty comparable to Longhorn, Roadhouse Grill, Logan's Roadhouse, etc. It's one of those "throw your peanut shells on the floor" places!
Thats why I asked...we got a menu from them and the steaks sound amazing...as soon as this baby is born I am having the biggest, rarest ribeye I can find! I have been craving this for weeks now. I can't eat steak if it isn't still moving.
We love it. We went all the time when I visited Chris in Morgantown. Imagine our delight when they arrived in Atlanta. We finally got one in our area. They always ask if it's our first time eating there every time we go.
The food is pretty good. I like the salads and I usually get the veggie plate with a loaded sweet potato for dessert. The rolls live up to their reputation.....heavenly.
Call ahead seating is recommended on Friday and Saturday nights.
Dh and I love this place!!! We can both get a good steak and two sides each for under $25! I also like it b/c it is loud, so I bring ds and no one looks at us weird for bringing a baby!
We actually enjoy this place! they're about the best steaks we can get here in our dinky city, the filet is decent for the price. The rolls and butter are yummy!
Ours just opened a few months ago. We've been twice so far and enjoyed it both times. We like it because it's loud and you can throw peanuts on the floor...perfect for 2-year-old DS!

We love it too & we have never had a bad experience either - & I think we have tried almost everything on the menu!!
My favorite is their ribs with a caesar salad & one of their Margaritas to wash them down! My DD5 1/2 always gets the kids steak - she just loves it! For her to leave an empty plate - the food must be good!!
The peanuts & the music just add to the atmosphere. It may seem loud when you first walk in because of the music & the dancing, but it is never loud enough that you would have to shout at the people at your table.
We LOVE Texas Roadhouse--even had our rehearsal dinner there..how lame are we?
Service is excellent...servers have a small area of tables--and the servers all help each other--your server who is your main server, doesn't necessarily bring your food to you.
Also--the gratuity is split and a small percentage of the tips is shared with the hostesses and bussers.
Hubby travels to El Paso--now granted the entire state of Texas is Monster humongous..he has tried other steaks and can't find anything as good as TR...so he eats at TR---even when out west. (He actually goes to Las Cruces--but has stayed in both towns).
We just went there tonight.
I especially love them since they hosted a fundraiser for me and will be donating $900 to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (I'm a member of Team in Training and will run at Disney).
So not only good food--but very good with the community!
We love the rolls and butter, and compared to Lone Star and Outback the prices are lower. DH, however, the steak fan, thinks the steaks are not up to his standards. The ribs, though, won a local "rib-off" competition last year.
