I live in San Antonio and have been a member since 2001. Own at VWL and BCV but OKW is the only DVC resort I've stayed at so far. Headed back to WDW in late June to stay at BCV.

I used to live in Arlington, and we both used to live in Houston. Now we live in Shreveport, so that's not so far from TX. We are going home to BCV in June and the OKW and VWL in January for the marathon.

dkellumw - We also drive from this part of LA. We can make it in about 14 hours. We have also left from the Cy-Fair area twice since we have family there.

DFW area DVC members here. Family consists of DH, DS(22) and DD(20-she plans to use our DVC for her honeymoon when she marries). We joined VWL in Dec. 2000. So far we've stayed at VWL, VB, OKW, and BCV. Since last August, I have gone to WDW 3 times-Aug. March and May. I hope to return in the fall or early Dec. We have driven to WDW 3 times, not counting 2 times as band trip chaperone on a bus. We try to fly now, but I would not hesitate to drive again. Now, if we can just get rid of the Wright amendment things would be perfect.

We drive to WDW twice a year...love that I10. In fact the kids finish school today, and we're too weeks away from our vacation at VWL.

Flower Mound (suburb of Dallas), checking in. We purchased BWV in 1998 and BCV in 2002. I go as often as I can, and I'll be returning to Orlando for the 4th time since September 2002 this weekend! The number of people with me keeps declining, however. In September, we went with 18, in December with 3, in March with 2 and this time I'm by myself. What freedom!!!!!!

Another Irving DVC family here!! We made our first trip ever to WDW last June and were hooked for life. We also bought at BCV sight unseen and we leave 2 weeks from today for our first trip home!! We will be driving-our dd's are 10 and 3-we have never been on a long road trip so wish us luck. Hope to see some fellow Texans in the World!!!

A Houstonian DVCer at your service!

We bought into BCV last November 2002. Staying at BCV the week after Thanksgiving this year. I already have my MVMCP ticket for Dec. 2. This is the week I go "solo" to WDW. I can hardly wait. I am sitting at work looking at the pictures I took last year and daydreaming.

We own 200 points and I am so ready to buy additional ones. The offer on BWV looked interesting, but I think I would like to have OKW available. Then again, there may be something down the road that could be quite interesting, who knows.

Hello from Plano, (North of Dallas). Members since 1997. We drove to WDW once, we had the best time, we would really like to do it again but we find ourselves on too tight of a schedule most of the time.

Howdy from West Texas! (Doesn't seem to be too many DVCers or DISers from this area.) I'm actually a transplant from the Houston area. We've been members since 2000, but don't get down as often as we'd like due to high airfare from LBB.

Boy, I know how you feel there! So far I've noticed no other DVC members south of San Antonio so that means no others in this area either.

We're from Rockwall TX, east of Dallas. We closed on May 8 and just took our first DVC trip on May 16-22. We own at BCV but stayed at BWV and had a great time. I would love to try driving but don't know if schedule or DS (13 months) would permit. Next trip is Dec 6-12. I can't wait.

We're from The Woodlands -- just north of Houston. We just got back from our first trip 'home' to OKW. We drove with our 15 mo. old son and almost 3 yr. old daughter. What a trip!

Well we live in the northeast corner of Texas. A little town called Hooks......GO HORNETS. About 2 hours east of Dallas & about 20 miles west of Texarkana. DH,myself,DD-15,DS-7,DC-7,DC-18 & DA will be at OKW on June 14-June 20. If anyone will be there around that time maybe we could meet at one of the parks or out at the pools. I have always wanted to meet up with some DIS members. I think it would be alot of fun.
