This is just an overview of our fun magical trip to Disneyworld.
Arrived at airport at 2:30pm - used ME (without tags for luggage). It went very smoothly. We were at the resort within 1 1/4 hour after we touched down. We looked at our room (building 5) and headed to MK.
About our room - LOVED IT! I really liked how the resort is small. Our room was right across from the pool and laundry room. We were also close to the bus stop and the resturant to fill our mugs. Also, you are the first stop to get on the bus so you always get a seat plus they drop you off first. We got to the park about 4:45.
At MK, we rode 12 rides and ate dinner before we left at 10:30. Not BAD! We used the dining plan and really felt like it was a great deal. I would do it again in a heartbeat. We ate at Liberty Tavern for the character meal. Food - average to below average but we were starving. ::MickeyMo
During the parade and fireworks we went on rides and pretty much walked on most of them. We knew we were coming back in a few days so we did not feel we were missing much. Rides: Buzz Lightyear - so much fun, Stitch - kids loved it!, It's a Small World - a classic, Swiss Family Robinson - We love the movie so we liked it, Jungle Cruise - just ok, Future World Tram - We really like this, Space Orbiter - Great a night, Tommorowland Cars - ok, Winnie the Pooh - thought it would be dumb but we loved it, Snow White - pretty cute, Carousel - we walked on so it was fine, Tea Cups - fun, The Haunted Mansion - walked on so it was great We went back to the resort and crashed so we could get up early to go to MGM and try to get the kids picked for Jedi Training. :earseek:

I love the whole atmosphere at the FQ ......I would love to go back again soon....thanks for your day at MK and all the rides you did so fast.......I am impressed.......good going........thanks again

Greetings from a former Texan.

I also loved Bldg.5 at FQ. Perfect location to run down to the foodcourt first thing in the morning for coffee and warm beignats. Ahhhh. Heaven.
