I have "problematic" feet and finding a comfy shoe is priceless to me... I've been sold on crocs and now own 2.. soon to be 3.. pair. However I do like the look of Tevas and have read on this board they're great. They're a bit pricey for me but I noticed many are on ebay. However if they are as wonderful as some say the price is nothing to me. I just don't feel more $$ means a more comfy shoe and I"d like to try a pair walking a lot first (my most comfy pair of shoes right now are a cheap cheap cheap pair of sandles i picked up at walmart while on a business trip and my shoes I brought went BAD (blisters everywhere) These sandles were $7 :rotfl2:

I'm interested in getting Tevas tho. What are your experiences AND.. more importantly.. when people mention loving them what style do you get that are so comfy? there are SO MANY drastically different styles! Any pics?

Thanks!

I have a pair of flip flop Tevas and I love them. They are very cushy and comfortable. I recently bought a pair of brown leather Tevas sandals with velcro straps but haven't worn them yet so can't offer opinion but if they are as comfortable as flip flops I'll be happy. They were originally $80.00, but got on sale for $40.00.

I like mine, but if you wear them at WDW in the heat socks are helpful. I got blisters without, and next time I looked like a geek but no blisters. They feel great, but if your feet get damp you may wish to wear socks.

I'm looking (anxiously) for another pair. The ones I bought 5 years ago for our WDW trip are starting to wear out on the soles (somehow I think my little toenail has been rubbing it). I have plantar fasciitis and these were the only shoes that will work for me without orthopedic inserts. I have the 'pretty rugged leather' ones, and absolutely love them. Dressy enough for casual skirts and capris. I think they have been worth every penny.

We love Tevas! For WDW, I like the style with the strap instead of flip flops. We had wet Tevas quite frequently (soaked on KKR and rain) and they never gave us blisters. They are fine w/o socks for us.

I got my tevas a couple of months ago. I have worn them some but I am a novice. I have found them very comfortable so far. If you want to see what they have to offer look up www.tevas.com. I bought the teva dozers, they cost $60.00. They are very practical.

I bought my Teva Mush flip flops and my Teva Hurricanes at Famous Footwear. Ross carries Teva, so if you live near one you might take a look. Ross also has Reef flip flops. If your feet are small you might be able to wear a large size boy's Teva sandal - I have bought DS a BUNCH of Teva Inversion sandals at Ross for $10 and they are $40 shoes! The designs are pretty neutral so you could probably find some that aren't very masculine.

I have seen the Pretty Rugged sandals at DSW but they are still a little pricey.

Good luck! :)

I have Teva Pretty Rugged Leather sandals, Teva Mush flip flops, and Teva Olawahu flip flops. I also own five pair of Crocs. I've taken all to WDW and by far the most comfortable pair were the Teva Mush flip flops. I'm not a flip flop person (the thingy between the toes always hurt), but the Teva Mush flip flops are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I can wear them all day and my feet still feel great.

Like the previous poster I was not a big flip flop fan until I bought my first pair of Teva Mush Flip Flops, I LOVE them. On a recent trip to Cuba I wore them EVERYWHERE, all the time! I have never worn them to WDW, bu tI LOVE how they form to your feet.

I picked up a pair of waterproof leather Teva sandals with the velcro straps last week at Ross. Regular price was $75, Ross price $19.95. I always wear Teva's to disney as I do not find closed in shoes comfortable for a lot of walking and Teva's can go the distance and pass the comfort test for me.

I also wear Tevas at WDW. I just bought a pair of Terra Fi at City Sports on sale. I also bought a pair of their flip flops at DSW for a great price. Love Tevas - wear them pretty much all summer long. :cheer2:

I just bought my first pair of Tevas. I'm worried that I won't get a chance to break them in properly before my trip in May (since it's not sandal wearing weather here in Mass yet!)

Should I plan on blisters? Bring body glide, bandaids and alternate between the Tevas and sneakers?

I bought my Teva Hurricanes in December and I have been wearing them in the house. I figure if they give me blisters walking around doing laundry and whatnot that I can plan to leave them out when I pack for WDW! DH thought I was very bizarre wearing my sandals in the house in the winter, but it's better than not breaking them in at all!

I love Tevas, I probably have about 3 or 4 pairs. I will wear them from Mid-March through Mid November. They are very comfortable and I have worn brand new Tevas at WDW without getting blisters, but my feet are used to them. I have gotten mine from Dicks Sporting Goods. Once I find a pair that I like, I always get a couple extra so when I wear them out, I have some to replace them with.

I think the straps that keeps the ankle in place help out and make them much more comfortable to wear. I have played Racquetball, Tennis and many other sports in my Tevas and never had problems.

Thanks to all of you. I am interested in purchasing a new pair of sandals prior to our WDW trip and Teva's sound fab. :thumbsup2

How do they do in the Florida heat w/black sole? I'll be in WDW in August.

I have a pair of Pretty Rugged Tevas and a pair of Teva flip-flops. I wore the flip in Hawaii and they rubbed between my toes :(. My regular Tevas never game me a problem.
