I don't know what the difference is, but I live in Alabama and Merrell's is a big thing here. I have asked several around here about which would be the best sandal, and everybody says Merrell's. Does anybody on here know anything about their sandals. Someone told me to get the Belluna II style. Anyway any suggestions would be great.

I'm breaking in a pair of Merrels. I tried on some Tevas but they just didn't do it for me. I think it depends on the person. Try them on and see how they feel. I got mine at Galyan's. I don't know if you have one around you, but they were great about helping me and said that if they didn't feel good after wearing them for a week I could bring them back in and exchange them.

I own both Teva's and Merrells (Belluna). There is know comparison in mho. The Merrells are by far a better shoe. The material that the top is made of, I think its call neosprin or something like that, is so stretchy and comfortable as well as the foot bed fits perfectly to my foot. The only think I don't like is the Merrell sandals don't have back straps. I can't seem to find a style that does.

With the Merrell (Belluna) not having a back strap on them, I am curious to know how they would stay on, on rides like the Hulk and etc. I heard they fit pretty tight on with it being like a stretchy top.

I have the Merrell Ultra Thong and the Teva Guide Wraptor. Both are outstanding. I can see myself wearing the Merrell's a lot on vacation, but I would probably opt for my Tevas for walking through the parks.

I think that the key to Tevas is to buy the more expensive ones. The least expensive versions do not have the all day support.

The only ride you really have to worry about shoes with no backs is Dueling Dragons. Simple fix for this. Take the shoes off and sit on them. You don't have to worry about losing them and can instead enjoy the ride. The Hulk has a floor so unless you can somehow get your feet off the floor or kick your shoes off on the ride, you are safe there.

I have both Merrells and Tevas. I find the Merrells to be extremely comfortable. I have not worn them to the parks yet, but will be putting them to the test at the end of the week!
