Testing Complete?

I didn't receive an invite to test the new magic Bands or FP+. I have rented some points in November for DVC and ordered my tickets separately. Yesterday I was playing around on my Disney experience site and after linking my tickets was sent to do FP+ and then magic bands. I know they were aiming for October or November, so I am wondering if there will be something officially announced soon.

All resorts are slowly but surely being added to the system. From following other threads it would appear that every resort is in for November testing, but it's still "testing" because there's nothing official for AP holders without hotel reservations and offsite guests at this time. They are getting to the point of a full roll out but they aren't there yet. When they get rid of all the old fastpass machines the testing will be over. No word on when that will be yet.
On a personal level I am REALLY hoping fastpass- is still there for our trip in December as I won't have my tickets until I get there.

I guess we will all find out soon if this is a disaster or a nice to have. Not a fan of planning every day 2 months out but if you don't you won't get any fast passes. I figure at worst I will be in Disney World so it cant be that bad.
