We have two semesters.
In grade 9&10, math and English are full year courses so we have our midterm for those when we're having finals for our semester courses.

Specialties are like gym, music, etc. In grade 9, you have no choice for specialty and have to take gym, tech, art and music. One for each term. (four terms in a year)

Things that are only a semester long, we have midterm in November (or April-ish if it's second semester) and finals are in January and June for the other semester.

With math this year, one teacher teaches half the course, and then second semester another teaches the rest.

Modern History is a grade 11 course, you're allowed one in grade 10.

That is just beyond me. xD
I now appreciate the simplicity of school here.

that's just weird.

From grade 5 to 8, we had certain classes on certain days. Like the schedule for Tuesday was always the same, but every day was different.

I hate having the same classes everyday, it doesn't give you a break, or more time to do homework.

I have science everyday, some days I have it twice. Luckily this year it's broken into chemistry, biology and physics. I have maths nearly everyday as well.

I have science everyday. Third period. It's just a general science class, we're studying ecosystems right now. After that it'll be chemistry, and then physics and meteorology.
I'm taking Bio next year.

Math, I have second period, we're doing algebra I think this semester and next semester it's geometry and trig.

In biology we're doing diet and excercise. Our teacher is going to make us calculate our BMI and display it to the rest of the class -_-
In chemistry we're balancing equations which is boring.
In physics we're doing oh something about light, I can't remember lol.

My science class is full of well, the pretty girls. Every single one of them is in that class.
