Hi All,

Hoping you can help. What is this attraction like? Is it too fast/scary for a big baby?

Thanks in advance! I'd love to ride it but I'm an admitted chicken!

Im a chicken and I love this ride..I hate Space Mt but this ride is fun.. Now my first time there was a part that scared me just a little but now that I know its there I am fine.. Take it from this chicken..You'll enjoy it..

Test Track is one of my favorite rides - I don't think it is at all scary. A few surprises and one bumpy part - and a very fast part at the end. But if you are used to riding a car on the highway about 60 mph, you will be fine ;-)

There are no loops or spirals - this is not a rollar coaster type of ride. Seriously, this is not a scary ride, so relax and enjoy.

Its a fantastic ride and not scary in the slightest (and im usally scared). When you stand outside the attration and hear the cars whizzing round the outside I admit it is a but scary but once your on its not.

There a great ride through (I would link you but im new and not allowed to post URLS) so to watch go to google video and search for 'test track epcot' and it should be the third video along named 'Test Track' and its 16mins long. Once you watch you will know that there is nothing to worry about.

Test Track goes 60+ mph which makes it the fastest ride at WDW but you really can't tell. If you were to compare it to a ride like RnR or Space Mountain, it's not half as bad as they are. I would go for it.

I've posted this before - my aunt rode Test Track three years ago at
AGE 85!!! I think you can do it!

Yes, the outside noise is far worse than anything you will experience on the ride. I avoided it for a couple of years because of the "noise" outside. I finally got up enough nerve to try it-it is a blast! It is just like a fast flowing highway.

I can't remember the exact order you do things: there is a part were you just go around some small curves,a part were you brake real fast,a part where you experience real cold temps and real hot temps, then a few minor things and finally the grand finally the speed test! During one part of the speed part your picture is taken.You have got to try it-I bet you'll want to go on again and again!

If you have ever had a head on accident there is a part where the car looks like it might hit another head on and might freak you out a bit. It freaked me out but after I rode the track a couple of times it didn't bother me anymore.

As another big chicken, I don't do rollercoasters, so I skip Space, Splash, ToT, RnRC, etc., but most definitely do Test Track. This is one of my favorite attractions at EPCOT and I just can't seem to get enough of it! There is a small dip, but no drops, loops, etc. Kinda wish the outside part was longer!

Chicken-I know what your talking about. I will not do Space Mtn, BTMRR, Spash MTN. I compromised and my DH and DS's MADE me go on this a couple of years ago. Everthing was fine until the doors open up and boom your doing 60 mph. Now I do drive the highway and have acceralated from 30 to 60 mph, however this seemed much different. I screamed the entire time, yelling at my DH, who was laughing. If you get motion sickness sit in the front, that helped me a bit. Will I do it again on this trip? I think I may give it another try.

You'll be fine on Test Track. I was so scared to go on a few years ago but now it's one of my favorite rides. Yes the outside can be intimidating, but the inside is very fun. There are honestly no scary drops, just some turns and the fast part outside. Deffinatly give it a try. Even if you hate if, hey at least you gave it a try.

I love Test Track. It is exciting without inducing motion sickness. Go on it, you'll love it.

Few years back, I had the occasion to give Test Track a whirl. I'm not a roller coaster rider or thrill rides, used to when I was alot younger. I don't do Space Mountain, RRRC, or Tower of Terror. I do do Splash Mountain and Big Thunder. Back to TT, the inside was neat and cool until we got to the outside part, that car accelerated like nobodys business, throw you back in the seat kind of ride. I wear glasses and if I would have looked sideways, I think the wind would have ripped them off. Great ride for me but once was enough. I also won't ride EE either.

It is a really awesome ride but the thing is everytime we go to WDW it is usually shut down at least once. Which is obvioulsy not a good testament to its sponser GM.

This is a great ride and is not scary. You might try the single rider line. It moves fast.

The only fast portion is the loop but it's not bad. You will enjoy the ride!!
