We are hitting EPCOT for our first park, and doing EMH - so TT will be a first ride for us - my question is, my 4 yr old is tall enough for this, should she ride it? I don't want to scare her first thing, and she has a tendency to say she wants to ride everything, but does get scared.

It's really not that scary of a ride. I would talk to her about it before hand, and make sure she is okay with the part at the end when the car goes fast. Just tell her its like riding in a convertible. :flower: I think there is one other part where it looks like a truck is going to hit you, but of course it won't so just prepare her for that. Other than that it's really just a fun ride!

Good luck, I hope she likes it.

Test track is my favorite ride in WDW. I really don't think it would be too much for a 4 year old. It's just a fast ride!!!!

Test track is a great ride for all ages. She will love it. I would not even make a big deal about explaining it to her. That will just throw up red flags. Just tell her, we are going to have a great time on it.

**ADDITIONAL RIDE SPOILER**

I agree with LadyLuc. When my DD was 4 she loved Test Track, but she was always worried about the truck. Also, -- not to ruin any surprises - but there is a part that it looks like you are going to hit a wall. Again, of course you don't, but it can be a little scary at first.

This is my dd favorite ride(she is now 7) she rode it as soon as she was tall enough and has loved it. It is not intense in a scary way the car crash thing is pretty minor and if she expects it she will be laughing about it(they show a little snap shot of it in the movie before the ride- a good time to point it out that it is a big joke) and the racing around the track is all just fun. She will feel big and love it is my guess. :cool1:

When we went last time, my DD was 3 and she rode it and liked it. We made a big deal about raising our hands (like a roller coaster) during the fast part and she loved it.

My DS first went on it at 3 (he's a complete beanpole!) He loves the ride, and always wants to go on it a second, third, fourth time. He does find it a little too loud though (the photo's always have him with his hands over his ears!) It is very jerky in a couple of places too. You could get someone in your party (if that's possible) to use the single rider line to quickly check it out first, if you are still unsure.
