Test Track question

I don't like thrill rides. I rode Space Mountain once & thought I would die. I can barely do Thunder Mountain because of the turns. I usually skip it. I can do Splash Mountain because the end drop is not that long. Question: How is that last loop around Test Track? I chicken out everytime I get in line. I think that it will feel like I'm spinning in a circle. I don't do spinning rides. Can somebody like me ride Test Track?

I am the biggest ride weenie EVER!!! I don't do ANY of the mountains. The tiny flume in POC gives me that "funny feeling" in my stomach.
But I like Test Track. And I think that you will too. That last loop looks (and SOUNDS) really fast - but it really is only about 60 mph.
I say "Go for it!" :)

TestTrack isn't any scarier then driving on your nearest interstate high way. In fact it is a controlled environment and very little road rage experiences!!

I don't do spinning rides either, but I like Test Track. If you have been on a highway and gone around a curve at 60-65 miles per hour, you have done the curve on TT (minus the theming). The loop on TT looks a lot worse from the outside than it looks when you are in the ride.

I wouldn't know. When we were there last year..it was down most of the time, so we didn't get to try it

Hoping it'll be up and running this time :teeth:

Besides being on an angle---think Nascar turns---you don't even feel like you are actually turning. And its only about 63 mph.

I hate spinning things too - especially tilt-a-whirls and teacups but Test Track is a BLAST!! Try it - you'll love it!! BTW - I hated Mission Space!! Now - that ride is not for me:eek:

I don't think its much diff than driving down the interstate in a convertible. Really. Its not bad at all... give it a shot!

My 14 y.o. DS who does not "do" roller coasters of any kind rode it last year and it didn't bother him at all. I'd say go for it!! Have a good time :wave2:

We loved Test Track-- it's so much fun, especially, the high speed section. I think you should give it a shot-- there's no spinning and no big hills. You'll probably enjoy it! :D

Try sittting in the middle. There is less of a "I'm going to fall out!" feeling there. It really is an exciting ride.

It's not scary at all. I've never been on Space Mountain, because I'm too chicken, and will only do BTMRR once each trip, because once is enough. I LOVED Test Track when we went on last time. It's the best. It really doesn't seem like a thrill ride. In fact I drive faster than that on the highways around here, and I obey speed limits. I was so chicken the first time I stood outside it, but the next trip I went on and I can't wait until our next trip back, which isn't even definite yet, so that I can go on again.

I hate Space Mt, Rock N Roller Coaster, Big Thunder Mt, Body Wars, Star Tours. They all make me sick. I can do Splash Mt, but not very often. Test Track is something I can do once a trip, like Tower of Terror. But I do have to recover afterwards.

I did Test Track the last time we were at Epcot. Going on it gave me a Brave & Invulnerable feeling for a whole hour afterwards@:p

I will not go on any roller coasters or spinning rides or pitch black rides. The kinds of rides I like are more the Mexico and Norway kinda rides, plus Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. I have to say I did find Test Track a little scary (it feels VERY fast, and the curves are really banked) and I'm not sure I would do it again, but it definitely was not a terrifying ride.

You should have no problem and if you can do splash mountian you can do tower of terror.

extremely doable ride for you. It is fun like riding in your car, you just get to do things you wouldn't want to do while driving your own car.
