ks--i have NEVER been on snow skiis....i don't think i want to either....my luck i would break my leg or something! I have no desire to snow ski. I use to like to water skii but haven't done that since trent was a baby. After I had a bad wipe out i haven't tried it again!


a friend of mine and i went out last night and the town was DEAD. It was snowing last night. I think we had a total of 8-10 inches. Our christmas party that got postponed from lastweek due to the snow got cancelled again today. Noah was suppose to play basketball today and got cancelled too. So I guess we will veg out today.

Blessed Sunday my friends....

Holy Moly, I slept til 10 a.m.....I never do that anymore, and it was nice I had run around yesterday all day, busy, busy....plus was trying to get everything done so today could kinda have me a veg day more or less. I have some stuff I need to get done, but if I don't, I ain't sweatin' it.

Pam, we had fun chatting, it was late when I said goodnight and some were still going strong. Lots of fun, like when we all get together to yak. We don't just talk about the show, we talk other stuff, get off track and get a little off track with our humor. Sorry you got so much snow to cancel your plans. Still calling for some here tonight, but not alot...but I'd be happy if I had to go into work late tomorrow, that I can live with......I have to travel up and down a mountain road, and I won't even attempt it if its slippery. Sorry, but I just won't worry about it for getting there.

KS, feeling better? Hope so.......I've told you, self-medicating with alcohal works wonders

Mac, I won't wish you fun shoveling, that is what I hate about snow...of course I don't put one of those in my hands, that is what DH is for

Any plans for WDW? We won't be getting back there for awhile. But I'm ok with that....I'm looking forward to my trip west. Any chance to see my babies is good

Deena, has your weather turned around for the better? I had an email from a friend in Oklahoma, they got bombed with ice, the pictures she sent were beautiful but made a mess of their tree in their yard.

Its a little chilly here now but really very rainy and dreary. We went yesterday and got the boys stuff for t-ball/baseball. We signed them both up. Dh wanted to practice with them this weekend but its to rainy so he has them hitting the ball off the tee in the living room. As the only sane person in the house I just dont think thats the best idea

Not sure about OC this summer but still a possibility. No WDW this year either since we were there last January.

Holy macaroni! We have a celeb amongst us!! I love that picture of you! Ahhhh...Gant, that is awesome....you and the big fish! Can I have your autograph....please I'm gonna go back and read it better too...that is just too awesome!!

Deena, I used to get so after the boys when they started throwing balls in the house........ I think ds took my grandson to sign up last weekend also, it is that time of year. Now do they play sanctioned Little League, or is it more of a rec type league? I'm excited for them, wish I could come see them play, I love seeing the little one's playing, they always are so cute.

haven't faced the priest yet...that comes later tonight; probably after the ice storm hits & i've got to drive up & down the steepest 1 mile mt in the area to get there . Hope God is my co-pilot lol.

mic - does AT fly out of BWI...they had really good rates into Phoenix last time i checked (as in 1/2 the price of Vegas).

pam - you wild & crazy girls! braving a big snow, i am impressed. I agree, haven't water skied for years either. The few times i managed to get up right, hitting the water on the way down was almost as nasty as the snow. Jet sking's much more fun imo.

deena - we too did the tee ball hitting in the house, just bought one that had a rubber bungee cord attached so it couldn't break anything .

mac - missing the mr yet?

We in the 'burg are waiting to see who the Rooneys pick to lead us to another SuperBowl next year ; only had 2 coaches in last 30+ years. Unofficial word leaked yesterday on ESPN they were passing over the asst. coach Grimm for Vikings Tomlin (don't think he's seasoned enough, even tho he's the same age Cowher was when he took over the reins..hmm) still no confirm. from the team??

KS, not sure about AT out of BWI...I really like flying out of Dulles when I can, its a closer commute for us, but I'll do whatever to save $$. SW is usually the cheapest and direct, IF they have any fares available. We usually end up going Delta, it has always been the cheapest, but then we have to change in Atlanta, which I really don't relish...but ya do what ya gotta do....

Off to look at some airfares...biggest problem is a stuff is in thru May but not for our return for June dates......ah, let the quest begin...or should I say obsession...

It has started to snow here too....real fine crap....SNOW GO AWAY...I'd rather go to work I think that think about snow and all the crap that goes along with dealing with it....I just heard we are in for more ice by tomorrow than snow...ice I don't do.......
