No I dont like cooking but with 4 kids I dont have much choice. its to $$ to eat out every day. But atleast I can toss in some stuff and go on about my business with the cooker.

Where is Ed tonight? He usually joins us on a Friday evening and brings a couple drinks along........actually, I'm self-medicating myself this evening to give this cold the bums rush outta here...I've had 2 Crown Royals & Coke...hope it does the trick, although all I'm expecting is to fall asleep

Date night with Nico went really well. WE watched Miracle..well, most of it anyway. We started too late, so we both ended up asleep.

Thanks for the compliments about him. I think he is a cutie too, but no, I have never thought about modeling him. I'm not sure I want him in that field

Morning all! You all must be hung over since I am the first one here this morning. I felt like crap last night so i called it a night early...i took some night time medicine and i was OUT! Feel a little better this morning but I think i am going to go out and buy some day time meds.

I am getting my hair done today I am going somewhere different today and I told her that I wanted something different so we will see what she comes up with. I would tell my other hair lady that and she would say...well we can cut more layers in? ummmmm, no....something different!!!! So we will see...i will either love it or hate it. Atleast it is just hair...it will grow back!

Trent has his first bb game today. Should be interesting since I really don't think they will have a very good team. They lack talent on his team this year...kinda dissapointing! He has 2 friends on his team everyone else he really doesn't know.

Then we are off to my sister's house for my nieces bday. She turned 3 the day after new years but she was no new years baby...someone else beat her to the punch!

Busy day here today so i better get a move on. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Morning all...actually, I've been up since about 5 a.m.....on a SATURDAY...woke up needing some cough syrup and had a headache...I played on the computer, watched some TV and just got done watching one of my favorite movies..."For The Love of the Game"...Kevin Costner

Good luck at the bb game Pam, they might surprise you! Let us know how the hair do turns out...I've still been letting mine grow, which it does not do quickly I've not had it cut since the end of Sept. I have something in mind, but I never can get it to look like the picture as my stylist can, and then I get ticked off about it... And yes, it does grow back, it's never fatal with hair

Got a ton of to attack...ick.....it is supposed to be 70 degrees here today go figure...but it saves on fuel so it's all good. On the downside, that is why everyone is sick, the little buggers love this warmth and stick around

Thanks for kind words about my babies...and yes, littlest one is spitting image of his dad, except he has the dark hair and my son was a towhead! I am biased, but I think he is just so stinkin cute and those big almost black eyes are gonna be lady killers. The oldest one has blue eyes that are gonna snag the ladies too!

pam - another one! sick = pull the covers over your head hope the new 'do is a winner! My DSs bb team has only won 2 or 3 games but, they practice 'till the cows come home.

ed - mudslides, thanx, but i like those clear drinks the older i get...seems to avoid the hang-over the next day. Personal vice: Asti or shots of good tequila & coronas or stolis/absolute; flavored rum or cheap red wine...come to think of it, you pour it i'll drink it.

ocm - did you have popcorn? nice to give the kids personalized attention.

off to the mall, to pay bills, not buy lol

getting ready to head out to my sisters house but thought i would stop in to say.....oh yeah, trents team stunk up the joint!!! it was 34-4!!! they all stand around and look at one another, no one wants to shoot, and they dribble to dang much! I am going to need everyone one of those drinks you mentioned just to make it through the season!!!! I told trent and one of trent's friends that they are just going to step up and BE THE TEAM!!! The are the only ones that actually did something today.

My hair...i think I like it! It is alot shorter in the back that flips out with longer sides. I colored it a dark brown but it seems to look a little red..i had her do a temp color which will lighten up months to come.

too bad about the bb game, after 20 something years of sitting thru DSs sporting events (good & bad), i've developed escape mechanisms...i have learned to take a nap w/my eyes open, make mental to-do lists & when all else fails, bs to another mom. In my defense I do watch when my child's on the playing field, it just tends to get old after a while when it's a blow-out. Of course, if you do happen to miss a game (for any reason) you will hear about it for years.

The kids at Connors school get to take home the school puppy (stuffed) for a weekend and then we write a little journal about what the puppy did with us with some Pictures.
