We are staying at the Boston Plaza hotel in a Suite. It should be a lot of fun, and I got a great deal on it. I am not staying with family becuase I do not want to rent a car and drive around Boston. I will stick to the T and taxis!

got back from the pizza place awhile ago--we were the busiest yet. The guy i worked with was trying to get me to answer phones and take orders--i said--not yet! Maybe next week lol the more i know how to do they will expect that of me. See i know how to work the system!

readers digest version of wednesday:

left home at 6 am
got to the hospital at 7 am

friend was to be called in at 8 for surgery
back up in operating rooms and not taken back until 9:45

out of surgery at 12:30

i never got to see him, his mother got to see him at 4:45 in a holding room.
and then we waited.................

they had 20 people in a holding room in the surgical area and 4 in the hallway, which is where the church member was.
the hosptal ran out of beds.......
could be there the entire 5 day stay.......in the hallway not in a room.

of course i got home super late..........had to take the elderly lady to eat and then to the grocery store, take her home and get situated.
then i came home..

i am working today and tomorrow but taking the lady to see her son after work both days.

i will try to be around until i go to work today and during my lunch breaks.


it is sooooooo good to be back here



i was catching up on reading the past posts and ocm talks aabout wrinkle cream , so did mic and pam...............tell me what you use. i have never used wrinkle cream and maybe i should try it.
i have no idea what to buy or shoplift.

i have no idea what to buy or shoplift.

I did some reasearch on a few products. I think I am going to try the Estee lauder Perfectionist. "CORRECTS the look of deep wrinkles without lasers or injections." That is their claim and it is a lofty one!! I will let you know in a month if it works.

Everyone also swears by the Clinique Eye Cream, so I am going to try that too. Again, I will let you know in a month if it works.

mac--to answer your queston before i forget--i use mary kay products! I signed up to sell them but the lady i signed up under totally lied to me so i quit--but the products are great i think! Have fun at work today! Please do check in--i will probably miss you!

mic--yes we do need to chat on the land line! i will talk to you later about it! I can't wait to hear about your story!!!

deena--i like your friends babies new name! I am kinda partial to allie as that is what we call my niece. How fun to finder paint outside! I gave up the fingerpaints when one of my kids started rubbing it all over my walls(it wasn't on of my kids either!)

ocm--going to the gym today and working through the sorness? It stinks being sore! Good luck on the wrinkle cream!

Well i can certainly tell you that using wrinkle creme does not make you beautiful!! I have used the products i am using for about a year and it hasn't given me a new face yet!

The Park Plaza is in a good location its close to the Theater District and Downtown Crossing(SHOPPING) the Jewelers Buliding and Newbury Street is a short walk away. Newbury St. has alot of high end retail shops and restaurants its a very nice place to take a walk. The Public gardens are right down the street thats where the swan boats are.

Momma...THOSE are the boats I spoke of yesterday...thanks for putting a picture up! I rode on those when I was like 5 or 6 yrs. old...and I remember it vaguely...but I remember I was thrilled! We didn't have a lot of money and anything we did like that was like such a treat to me....they are so neat.

Ed, thanks for the springtime morning...and yes...yesterday was quite a thrill...I had put my Red Sox flag out, so I knew something good would happen...

well, wrinkle cream will never cure ya, but they can't hurt either. momma and I had a beauty chat last night and it was FUN....ya know, girls love talking that stuff............and about hair color etc.....Ed, I love to chat sports talk with you......I love that too
