Mac sent me: a suction cup skeleton that sticks on windows for halloween, a ghost pin for halloweeen, 2 reeses peanutbutter cups, and a fruitcake!!!!!

Hey, ya got me for a few minutes. I'm putting together the local high school wrestling slide show that I take pictures for. I put it to music (DJ business) for the year end banquet which is next Wednesday. I thought work was slowing down but I was just informed that the FDA was coming in on Tuesday for an audit and I will have to meet with them to discuss a validated system I am in charge of. To tell you the truth, I really don't care at this point. I'm DJing a wedding tomorrow and meeting with the T-ball people prior to that. Right now.......I'm going to pour myself a Bacardi Gold and Pepsi. I'll be right back!!!

Sounds like all our people have a busy weekend ahead of them...all those little kids need squiring around to their various activities.

Adam, I remember T-Ball fondly...still have some video of my #2 son standing on the field yelling at his Dad "turn.........that.........camera.................
off...........now"....we still laugh about that. There was a fella with downs syndrome who played on our team, and when he got on base, he never wanted to leave the field...so one day when he was told he was out, he just flipped the bird at everyone....and most of the other 5 yr. olds were saying "what is he doing that for"...LOL...sure had some fun times. Seems like yesterday.......

I remember fondly also. I had a kid that wore leg braces on my team because of polio about 9 years ago. The kid got a hit and the other team made "mistakes" during the next 3 batters (without my help) so the kid could cross home plate. I balled like a little baby when that happened. I refuse to coach any higher than T-ball because it loses the human factor.

That does so make it all worthwhile doesnt it, when stuff like that happens. The t-ball kids are so cute...we had mixed genders here and the girls got just as rowdy as the boys..LOL...

Went through the whole system including Babe Ruth with my oldest...and it can be termed "interesting" at times, but overall, they were the best of times and lots of great memories from those years.

Oh yes Mic. It's mixed genders here also. The last team I had had 23 kids. This years team has but 11. I make sure to pitch the girls underhand like they will see in the next level and the boys overhand. Just a pet peeve of mine I guess. I make it a point to make this about the kids. I don't keep score and there is ice cream (on me) AFTER EVERY GAME REGARDLESS OF HOW THEY DID.

That is such a sweet story you told! We are at that stage too. Trent is in traveling team and jaycees baseball and noah is in coaches pitch baseball--his is still coed but trenton's is all boys and it is the "real" baseball as he puts it! Last year was his first year and it was interesting. They went from the bad news bears to getting 2nd in their tourney. So it ended up good!

I was just telling dave tonight--we are going to be at the ball park everynight come summer between the boys--oh gee, i can't wait till aubrey gets up there I am going to enjoy it though because i know it will go by fast!!!



Anyway, don't know how much i will be on the next couple of days due to soccer and baseball but i will try to check in!

hi all, son #2 went on the computer after dinner and i never got back on.

wish i would have been there when pams gift came.
the reason i sent fruitcake: everybody hates fruitcake, its the butt of all jokes, aunt louise' fruitcake is hard as a rock, can use it as a hammer to nail wood.etc.......

well, i bought the fruitcake around thanksgiving time, bought two. one for me as i do love it and one to send. (but i ate mine before thanksgiving time)
the peanut butter cups that were in the halloween trick or treat bag was what was left over from oct 31. i just found them in a drawer while i was looking for the title. the halloween pin also in the trick or treat bag.

the skeleton is pam...........she is working out at the gym and dieting. pretty sure she will be skin and bones soon, just like the skeleton

then i have to go to union station to pick up my todd, then bring him home, get him some grub and then take him to work


mr. postman should be here today. he is an early bird on saturdays , like around 10:15, but i won't be here until afternoon.

YUCK, it is raining awful here, and so dreary....

Not much going on, so not sure what I will find to get into today...not that there isn't plenty I could be doing...so I will see what mood strikes my fancy....I am hungry this morning, so will go find something to fill the tummy...

Hope the weather is good for those with sporting activities planned. And Momma and her brood will have a rainy ride at least part of the way home.
