Hey Deena, how do you like the DVC, I am thinking about buying in.

I love DVC. The DVC resorts are very nice. I couldnt believe the size of the 2 bdrm at OKW. They are HUGE. The others are very nice as well, just not as big. I would get a resale if I were you. We have 2 small OKW contracts one for 115 pts and one for 100 pts....pd about $16 per point less than the Disney rate. We bought in when they were selling BCV. You can trade out for other timeshares in Interval II but we never have. You can also use your points to cruise although the DVC resorts dont go up points to cruise do go up.

We looked into it too, but I dont like the fact that I only own it for 50 years. I want to own it forever, but we might do it down the road.

I think we are going to try to stay at BWV when we go in Oct. And we are swtiching to one of the MK resorts on Friday and Sat becuse the increase is too costly for us.

Nope not a survivor watcher! The only night time shows i really watch is the tgif lineup. Other than that--i hit and miss the others if i watch any at all So no i am not a survivor!!!

We bought our first contract, 115 pts, in Oct 2002 and our second for 100 points right after that in Jan 2003. We used ******* Crawford. She is really nice and very professional. We dont make really specific requests, simply no smoking and none handicap accessible rooms. The accessesible rooms have no garden tub which we need and it seems the curtain rods you open and close the curtains with and locks and such in perfect placement for Connor--which is not good.
I have requested at OKW a room room close to the Hopsitality house and a room in a building with elevators--if we cant get an elevator bld I want first floor. We also dont use our points on weekends because only having 215 pts and always needing a 2 bdrm that uses quite a few points.
I am using 50 points on my trip with my friend that includes a Sat night but pts are much less in a studio and though Im using my points we are splitting the costs so she is paying $250.

ETA: I guess she is no no on the boards now too??
