Ok mic - that cracks me up. I think if I dared to send my mom a wish list she would laugh in my face.or get me a picture of it. But I know what you mean, my aunt stilll gets them from her DD's and they right down colors, styles, brand names..lol. And they are in their 20's.

evening friends....wow, the little ones I babysit decided at the last minute they wanted to come over to trick or treat....they love my hubby so much, and he is working, so I figured they wouldn't want to come over, but yep, they did, so the 3 of us set out to get some candy, candy, candy....<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_1_213.gif' alt='Bat' border=0></a>...they did pretty good before their little legs wore out...but they had fun.

I had to keep them with me til around 10 when their Mom swung by after work to pick them up...what a challange to keep them awake til she arrived. We started watching "Haunted Mansion" on Tv and that sort of did the trick! We stopped at my SIL's house and they go all out for Halloween...well, she was in a standup coffin on the porch (I even didn't realize it was her dressed up) and she had a distorted voice and started moving and the kids were scared....but finally I took them up to get their candy and they realized it was her and they then enjoyed it all....it was funny...but scared the crap out of them for a minute....so anyhoot, it was fun for them...but now I'm beat...but HEY, I get an extra hour to sleep tonight....

Pam, have fun swigging and betting....

oh, and ocm, I got another "wishlist" item from dear son via email....but I think he's gotten enough....so I won't be getting it for him...that is what I say today anyway....LOL

good morning and happy halloween all you testy peoples hope every one had fun trick or treating, and no one was badly tricked.. last nights show was a blast, we never even got a chance to take a break,, all said the kids now have 975 dolloars in the trip fund. we made over 800 last night alone, it wasa blast, we had trouble getting the costumed kids to reach into my cauldron,,, and had several that really got scared only one young girl had to make use of the emergency exit though we were so busy that i didtnt get very many pictures last night, every time i thought i would get a chance we either were swappped or had technical failures during the vrey first tour a lil girl was so scared that she pulled one of the real doors loose from a hinge ,,,then during the second trip a board broke on the guillotine and made it to dangerous to use with out repair so we had to take a fewminutes and play fix it.. the cast was so tired out that only 3 couples were at the cast party and we only lasted and hour or so will be back later, think i'm going to nap on the couch a bit, dw andf dd arent up yet, the cats got me up at 630 ,, how they know the clocks are changed is beyond me,, even with the time change they were right on time demanding breakfast

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE

I hope to accomplish a lot today...LOL..we'll see...Froggy enjoy the day and rest up, you deserve it. So happy that last night went well and you were able to raise the money for the kids, that is what is important plus you had fun!!! Makes being tired and cranky all worth while.

Off to have some breakfast, might even bake a cake today! Feeling festive for fall and may make something "pumpkin"....

I am going to pass the candy out tonight. And I need to finish one pumpkin. Other than that, just working on my house.

So glad to hear your HH went great. Sounds like a really good time in the end.

Ocm--pictures!!! We all love pictures! Take some of everyone! I am still working on my scanner so hopefully i can get it working! it is being bad!

mic--mmmm....a cake! I love baking but i hate it being around for me to eat it Hope you get all your things done today!

I think we are going to take off around 3p.m. to go to my grandma's to start the rounds--it is always crazy here on the holidays! I hope to be in and out today as well!

hmmmmmm hey mic,, could you use a good guillotine, maybe a gallows or a rack,,, a couple sets of stocks maybe? how about a life sized mummy,,, three large plastic totes of animatronics.... or about 75 skulls? a life sized floating ghoul? wait i know,, how about a large tote full of plastic arms legs hands and assorted body part? ten strobe lights,,, several hundred yards of christmas lights,, three life sized skeletons,,,, 200 ft of heavey rope,,, maybe a rotating 9 ft tent ,,,,,mad eto hang from the ceiling,,,,, 3000 sq ft of black plastic? 2 trailers loaded with pallets and scrap lumber...... the remnants of 35 gallons of strangly colored paint( ever went to trhe store and matched paint to the color of bread mold?) 2 truck loads of styrofoam,,,, three of sheet card board,,, 2 refridgerators,,,, 2000 ft of extension cord,, 200 yards of fabric ,,, 2 air pumps,,, a larger than life landscape back drop( made from 2 old doors fastened together and hinged,,, ) 19 black lights,,,, a large wall mural of grave stones.. 4 ft tall and 60 ft long.... 2 large sized window cling murals,,, a medium sized tote full of make up and that just a start,, ( basically wehat we plan to store) not counting 10 large ( 14 in dia) cardboard tubes, which may or may not get stored, a lagrew box of styrofoam padding ( soft fabric like stuff they use to wrap electronics except we got it in large sheets) w hen you want us to drop it off? can have it loaded on semi maybe by friday evening

Hey all...time out from un-decorating, baking a cake and doing laundry...whew....I made myself tired just typing that...

dear Froggy, while all your Halloween stuff seems like a great offer, I can hardly find room to store my stuff I have now, let alone a semi full to find a place for!!! Can you all keep it for next year? That would be great profit for you, no supplies or buy/build again...

Pam, I think I know what plan you are speaking!!!! Something that started to "roll" awhile back, am I on the right track...I feel like Sherlock Holmes.....or a dog sniffing the trail...

Well, I'm taking a snack break, gonna eat some grapefruit, and then get on with this cleaning up stuff....I've made a good bit of headway...so I feel good about it all....its all in a pile waiting to be closeted and shelfed...so that is one part of the battle. Do you realize it won't be long and we drag out all the Christmas stuff again???? Yikes...better get busy....bye ya'll
