Ed, I wish all of you could come along!!! There are some beautiful spots out there....I love your cactus pic, next to the mountains, I love seeing the cactus .. there are a gazillion kinds too! and to really feel like a dolt, my 4 yr. old grandson will start naming them off to me... When he says ocatillo...that one just slays me... cause he spells it out for me...so I understand of course....ak-a-te-ah grandma....the agave's are neat too...ok, you started this with that photo And I will bore you all to tears when I get back...I'm a picture freak...it it ain't movin', I take a pictue of it...LOL

mic--we will miss you when you leave--you better have fun and come back and bore us with your pics!

ed--i wish i was going to AZ too! only been there once but it was in feb. and the weather was awsome! I would go anywhere but here at this point--need a break from the cobs!!!

froggy--your h.h. is looking great!!! looks like you guys have put a lot of work into it! I hope it is a big success for you guys!!!

adam--i am in for a round or two--as long as i don't end up like that squirrel!!! I don't do well anymore--i guess i am to old for that! and i don't like having to wake up to kids in the morning with a hangover!

as for packing, Adam, please back those guns and and come along...Pam, get in the car and drive on over to meet me!!! You like those long drives and just leave the little ones with Dave...tell him I really, really want you to join me....

I would in a heartbeat but the reason i don't is called WORK!

Although dave and i were talking the other day and i was asking him what he would do without me!! I could always leave for a week and see if he could make it!!!

it's really funny isn't it Pam how life/work get in the way of having fun....this part of it all is FUN....then thinking about coming back home and having to work for 50 more weeks to earn some more vacation is NOT so fun....I've always said we should work 2/4 weeks and vacation for the rest of the year....

i agree--but i am the one who wants to work for 2 days and have 5 off!!! I don't think that will pay very many bills though!

I am enjoying my peace and quiet right now--NO KIDS here and won't be the rest of the night until i get home from playing volleyball! Much need mommy break!!!

evening all

well, everything is about ready to go, suitcases packed and just need the final couple things thrown in the morning. we have to leave the house around 5:30 or so to get to the airport and our flight leaves at 7:30 a.m.

I will surely check in once we are settled in and make sure everyone is behaving themselves while I'm away...and to see if our Little Cool Baby has shown up yet!!! Please make sure and post any news you all find out so when I check in I'll see it. Once I get everyone off to bed in the evening, I'll be able to have some computer time...

Thanks for well wishes Pam and yes, I will be spoiling the boys rotten...although 2 weeks really isn't enough time to do it up right...LOL...but I'll try....

I am so glad that you will be able to check in from time to time!!! Volleyball was a bust tonight--i have girls on this team that have never played before and to me that is very frustrating!! not use to losing all of the time!--oh well just filling in for a friend--i am hoping to not be a perminent loser!!!

You are all invited to my castle anytime. The hot houseboys can tend to the girls room and the gorgeous maids can take on the boys.


Pam - it is frustrating when you lose...especially when you havent practiced with those people. Very fruestrating. I am glad you got some time to yourself yesterday. Very important.

It was a short celebration but worth every minute of it. As far as the hot guy goes, I made sure he had a twin brother waiting for YOU when you got back.

Anyway, what Ed said. How are you doing and are you getting excited that the new arrival is only 3 days away?

Oh my GOD!! I only have three days!!! Um..I am not ready. I hope this baby waits a few more weeks.

Today we are waiting to hear if the offer was accepted. If not..I guess I am going back next weekend to look again. Does anyone want to trade lives for a week?
