Hi all just got back from my neices daughters (Great neice?) Christening in Ossipee NH 2hr drive up and back thank goodness for dvd players in vans.
We had a good time and the baby is so cute. Happy to be home, and sit and watch the olympics for awhile.

She is just over 3 mos.

I think its so funny my Nephews and Nieces span such a wide age group because I'm the youngest in family my oldest sister is 15 yrs older than I am and the next oldest to me is 8 yrs older ( they use to tease me and tell me my name was oops) and my wife is the oldest of 4 girls in her family, So my nephews and nieces span in age between 24 yrs and 1yrs old. 3mos if you include Haley.

So that would be 24, 2@22, 21,20,18,16,8,6,2@ 3, 1, 3 mos.

that sounds like a great family day..I've been to Ossipee, now I can say I know someone who knows someone who lives there...all babies are cute, and one that is a relative is always the cutest

I've been watching a little of the diving...too many commercials for me on this stuff....guess you didn't catch any of todays Red Sox game then if you were away....impressive...5 in a row now...

I think the biggest gap between my dad and his siblings is about 18 years, and that's between the oldest and youngest ~ there were 8 of them (7 now ) My cousins range in age from 9 to 42! It's awsome when there's that big of a range . You get to help aunts out with cousins and have cousins who helped out with you

my MIL is the youngest of 10 kids, so my hubby has cousins that are a lot older than us, some about our age, a couple younger, and some that have passed away...that is what happens with such large families..I guess MIL's oldest sibling was like 20 years older than her..

I have very little family, so I don't have much to compare it all too...just little ole me

don't feel bad mom ~ large families often have an ability to drive you loony (but "gotta love 'em"! Right !?!) That's just my first cousins, my cousins' kids (AKA first cousins once removed) range in age from 23 to almost 9 months if you include Hope (and one on the way ~ due in September)

My mom is the 3rd oldest of 13 (there is 15 years the oldest to the youngest.)

I dont know much about my dad, but he is the oldest of 6 and if I understand right, there is 15 years between the oldest and the youngest too.

My oldest cousin is 33 and my youngest Aunt is on that side is 39. (my mom's side.) The youngest cousins are 13.

My brother is oldest on my dads side and the youngest is 11. So I guess there is a wide spread there.

I am the only one with kids on both sides.


I have over 100 first cousins and yes I know them all. My moms side is extremely close, we all grew up together.

Mac, I know exactly what you mean about moms. I have a disagreement with mine today for sure. It's like you go home and you are 7 again.

Hey guys!! I just got back from my aunts house--we had a little get together for my cousin who just got back from Iraq. He will come home again for x-mas(he is stationed in Italy) then in Feb. it is off to Afganistan(sp) for 13 months.



My neices and nephews are:12, 9, 8, 6, 5, 3@3, 3@2, 1, 9mo, 2mo

There are 5 kids in my family

I have upteen cousins--there is 5 kids in my mom's family and 4 in my dads

Our families are very close as we get together for every holiday.
