TEST (part 2)

:dance3: morning!

it's a bright & sunny day here; despite the 4 inches of snow we're going to get tonight...may put a cramp in my egg hunt (they could follow the footprints:laughing: ).

DH is scheduled to work Easter 4-12, no holiday pay:headache: today is the holiday:confused3 (i'm never going to figure out their pay schedule)...good thing SIL never did rear her head or I'd be stuck paying solo host:eek:

skools out for tony:cheer2:

Good new on the TV, the truck did come in & I went & "camped out" chatting up the Mgr.:rolleyes1 ; evidently, their excuse was everybody had pink eye:confused: :upsidedow . Just it was in, even though we found out it had to be upright in the SUV (not going to happen & had to go rent a truck from Lowes:thumbsup2 )...all's well that ends well...just need the directv guy to show & all will be well. Unbelieveably, when i called to question their cancellation policy, i found out they had openings on Sunday/Easter:confused3

anyway, need to rearrange the boxes from the LR, bbl

Have a great holiday all! Hope the bunny leaves you presents, the good kind;)

Morning all!
TGIF!!!

Have a lighter load today...only will have 7 not counting my own today. My kids will go back to school on Tues. of next week.

mic--i will be right along with ya! That's what friends are for...it has nothing to do with being blonde:rolleyes:

tony--good for you! hope you get the grades you want on your finals!

ed--love the bar!! You have a lot going on at your house...i bet y ou can't wait until it is all done.

ks--that stinks! I can't believe they told you that is how they are. What great customer service they have:sad2: I hope you guys get your t.v. soon.

lori--I know you probably said this before but how old did you say your kids were again?

ocm--Did you get your easter shopping done? I have one more stop left for the boys and I will probabaly do that tomorrow since they keep bankers hours:sad2: I think I am going to get them either batting gloves or this cool warm up jacket...depends on which one i don't have to order;)

bob--are you hosting a easter dinner?

mac--hope you're having a good time.

where is kurt...did he get lost again?

well, i better go and start some laundry since I can't find a way for the laundry to do itself:confused3

My easiest child turned out to be my most difficult as her package got lost in the mail. There are 5 Disney Stores in metro Atlanta and 1 of them had 1 belle costume left in her size. So I drove over an hour yeaterday to get that.

My kids are all out of school today and Lee is taking Nico to the hockey game tonight. So I wont get out until tomorrow. I need to get a few simple things, but their baskets were not cheap just with the simple things they asked for. So, they arent getting much else.

TVT - glad you got your school work done. Nico said there is no way you can beat him in grades.:lmao:

KS - glad to hear the package got worked out. Now you are all set up with your cool new toys. Im sure you made all the guys in your house happy too.

Ed - are you done your Easter Shopping?

Mic - are you off today?

Lori - will you spend all day with your relatives or will you do something just your family at night?

Gant - If you dont check in..I hope you have a wonderful and safe Easter.

I asked my kids if they wanted to go out to Sunday Easter Brunch and they told me they wanted me to cook:eek: I do make really good Eggs Benedict and I will get some fruit. We are going out for dinner that night, although I have no idea where. Cooking twice in one day would be horrible;)

YOU TELL NICO I CAN BEAT HIM AT ANYTHING........I'M BIGGER !! :lmao:

NICE TABLE TOO !!

Evening friends.........

Oh KS, I bet you guys won't be able to tear yourselves away from that TV this evening or the whole weekend! Sounds awesome, enjoy! Sorry hubby is working, but mine is also...2 to 10 and its not a holiday either :sad2:

Momma, very nice table and chairs! Wow, you did run all over for the Easter bunny to do his thing, but if the little one's wake up happy on Sunday, its all worth it. Do you guys do an egg hunt? The boys always enjoyed that, and back in their time, finding an egg with a dollar bill in it was bigtime...bet that wouldn't cut it today :rotfl:

I went and did a few things this morning and made my contribution to the grocery store yet again...who eats all this stuff???? I did get a few more goodies for the basket I'm making ds/gf. They told me they bought 'Enchanted' and will bring it Sunday, so I think we will be watching movies.

I woke up way early this morning, so I'm ready for a nap I believe...and town was just starting to get nutzy when I headed home. Sunny but very chilly here today. Tonight rain and some snow maybe :scared1:

TVT, good luck on the grades...although I'm sure you will ace it all:banana:

Evening everyone!

Tony - I hope the finals went well.

KS - Glad the tv finally showed up. Sux dh has to work and no overtime either. Sorry bout the snow.

Pam - I don't remember! Actually they are 24 1/2, 23, 16 & 9. And I have a 4 yo granddaughter.

OCM - We actually did one Easter dinner today at dh's folks house. And today mother changed our family celebration to tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be rainy on Sunday so she changed everything. We will stay out till about 5 tomorrow and then come home for the weekend.

The table looks great, by the way.

Mic - Sounds like you are going to have a fabulous weekend with your ds & his gf.

So, remember how I told you my mil took care of the Easter basekts? Well this year she decided to just do bunnies instead. So yesterday I got to go buy stuff for baskets for Ally and my granddaughter.

I went to the baseball field to get the concession going at 8:30 this morning, went to the inlaws at 12:45, stayed until 4:00, back to the ballfield until 5:00, to bank & then grocery store and finally back home at 7:00. Dh is finally doing something to help out and is cooking dinner. UGH!

Have a terrific weekend & Easter everyone.

Oh and dad called today and mother decided the ham she bought wasn't enough for everyone she invited and we needed to have our normal brisket too. So I got to go buy everything to smoke brisket and now we are getting ready to start smoking it. It is going to be a long night. Of course it won't be as good since it didn't get to marinade but it will do.

Loribell, sounds like your Easter went to heck in an Easter basket....real quick;) Sorry it got turned around, but sometimes those are the days/times that turn out the best.

drive by before the ham goes into the oven, next the birds:) (think they slice better when cooked a day ahead)

lori - did you get the baskets filled? I'm giving out the box of chocolate covered pretzels i bought for DS fund raiser;) cute ghostbuster tshirts i found & cold hard cash...will still hide the baskets.

need to dye eggs today too (they fight over who gets to do the most, so i'm lucky to get one to express myself)

hope y'all are further along in prep than i am today.

morning all!

washing my kids up so they can go hunt easter eggs;) Our town puts on a couple of easter egg hunts so for 9 and under so Noah and Aubrey are going to go and do that this morning. Then after the first one Dave and Noah are going to go to the Husker Baseball game. Aubrey will go to one last egg hunt at 1pm. Trent is mad because he can't go to the game because he has play practice for the play they are putting on for the sunrise service at church sunday.

I am pretty much done with all my prep....i have to run to our local sporting goods store and get a few things, go and get stuff for my dessert I am going to take to my aunts and make it. I don't know what I will do when I will have to cook:rolleyes:

lori--sorry your easter got rearranged. I am sure it will be fine though...it always seems to work out.

mic--have fun with your ds and dsgf....sounds relaxing to sit and watch a few movies.

ks--atleast your dh will be home for easter dinner befor having to go off to work.

ocm--glad you got all the easter things....you are the best mom....i think i would have just put a note from the easter bunny saying it was coming;)

Hope everyone has a good weekend and a great easter!

Good afternooon..

whew...everyone is busy...me too...dyed my eggs, got my macaroni salad made, cleaned up the stove top and did all the dishes from the mess...rest of stuff for tomorrow is easy...I even bought an Easter cake so I don't have to bake...we are having a low key day using the grill :goodvibes and while I had the mess in the kitchen, I was thinking, heck, even a simple meal on the grill turns into a 2 day prep :confused3

Very chilly here today and overcast, think rain is coming...never did get any last night

Enjoy your day everyone...I need to get dressed

We had two soccer games today. Julie socred 4 goals and her team won 22-1 and Nico scored 3 goals and his team won 7-5. So far it has been a good day.

I hope you guys have a wonderful Easter!!

I hope the kids had a lot of fun.

We had an absolutely fabulous time today. Had a great meal and a lot of great visiting. The kids had fun hiding & hunting eggs. My cousin brought his little one, she is the youngest, 15 months, and she was adorable hunting those eggs! Probably the best Easter gathering I have had in a very long time.

Good afternooon..

It is amazing how messy things get, even when you are doing something "simple". Have a wonderful time tomorrow.

We had a great day, now I'm here alone...ds/gf spent most of the day with us, we took a walk and went to see MIL and great aunt, came home, fixed our eats quickly, dh left for work, and we watched 'Enchanted', when it was over, the kids left and here I am :goodvibes 'Enchanted' was adorable and we laughed alot, it was much better then what I had thought it would be...I'd like to see it again. All the trivia in it about other Disney movies, characters, employees etc. was great to try and catch it all.

Mac, glad you are enjoying yourself and I WISH WE ALL WERE THERE TOO:thumbsup2

Momma, YAY for the soccer scores...Lorib, the egg hunt sounds super.

Ok, I'm surfing around a bit, now I'm gonna take a nap I think...too many sweets today has me draggy, now I know why I don't eat that stuff that much anymore. Another holiday has come and almost gone, time passes way too quickly. And Easter being so early this year, seems like it came upon us so fast and now it is but a memory.

I thought this was a great one. Forgot to share it here earlier.

HAPPY EASTER

Happy Easter - bunnies:goodvibes

the weekend has gone by in a blur, nice though:)

glad to hear you're all having an enjoyable holiday

i had to laugh, i remember the high point of officer Jer's Easter was the egg hunt every year when he was a kid, always so proud of his basket full of eggs (especiall the special ones they'd exchange for $s). This year, he was on duty and got to sound the siren for it to begin...the circle of life:laughing: .

little warmer here today, mid 40's; spring may be just around the corner afterall.
