Tescos Vouchers and DLP

Hi Guys

Im hoping that some of you might be able to help me.

I am saving the vouchers that you get every couple of months from Tesco, I have quite a few and by next summer Im hoping to have a few more.

As we are not having a major holiday next year, I thought it might be nice to put them part way towards a trip to DLPR for a few days. Maybe 2 or 3days.

Can anybody tell me how this works?? I believe that there are a few Travel agencys that deal with Tescos vouchers, is this right?? and can anybody tell me if they have used their vouchers towards a holiday in DLP before.??

Im not sure if they include, flights, or Coach and Ship/Tunnel, Hotels,?? I know I wont have enough to cover the whole thing im sure, but it might help towards it.

Any help/advice would be very gratefully received.

Sue, hope this will help. I don't use Tesco's very much because we have an Asda and Sainsburys closer but I can see why it's worth saving their points for hols.

I used mine for my last two DLP holidays. You can book with Cresta, Leger, Bridge/Paris Travel Service. All offer package hols that include hotel with b&b, ferry/eurostar/flight travel and park tickets.

This year we saved £300 on our holiday. This time I am making much more effort to save points - buying all presents from Tesco, buying on-line and using on-line vouchers, using a Tesco credit card for everything I buy!!! So far I have saved over £400 and by the time we travel in 2007 I hope to have payed for virtually the whole holiday

You must make sure that you tell them you are using Tesco vouchers WHEN YOU BOOK THE HOLIDAY. You will need to book direct with them and not via a travel agency. They will ask you to send the converted vouchers (converted into deals tokens) within a certain number of days when you book (send by special delivery). So make sure you have all the vouchers you need before you book because once you have booked, you cannot add more.

Do you shop online ?
This is when you can really boost your points, there are lots of voucher codes out there you can use with online orders. I've amassed £80.00 in vouchers since the last release compared to my usual £10 ( I always shop online ).
I've also applied for the Tesco Clubcard Credit Card as that'll help boost the points as well and signed up for the Tesco clubs (Healthy Living, etc. they're free to join and the magazines often include vouchers which you can use for extra points).
These ones will pay for a new bathroom suite at MFI for us, then I'll be saving in earnest for our next DLRP trip.

Verity - Yes Im really looking forward to going back, I have been 3 times before but it was long before the studios opened, so it will be nice to see how it has changed.
