tesco vouchers???

Hi,

I used a 1000 point bonus code on my regular grocery shopping (just over £50 worth) then my husband used his account also registered at our house in same name to buy a steriliser for £35 which has 999 bonus points, he also bought a couple of bottles of wine for a party we are having and that took him over the £50 mark so he used the 1000 bonus code. So that came to 2999 plus the points for the actual items. These orders are for delivery after we return from a few days away staying with family so I popped in store to get some essentials we needed over the weekend and also got DD a few extra play clothes (you gotta love Tesco for kids clothes) and used the bonus point coupons from my clubcard mailings to earn a total of 632 points on my in store spend of £50 - okay so I spent £150 in one day but everything was stuff i would have bought anyway, I just bought £20 of clothes at once instead of £5-£10 at a time for Izzy) and the steriliser will replace our broken one. I know some people buy stuff they don't want and either sell it or try to return it - I have no intention of doing that but I am thrilled to find a way of maximising what I get from stuff I would buy anyway!

So am i correct in saying that 3600 points equates to £36.00 in vouchers or if exchanged for deals at 4 x value thats £144.00 of your next virgin holiday!!!

So you spent £150 but got £144.00 worth of points towards deals, i dont have a tesco clubcard but it sounds to me like you did pretty well out of that!!:cool1:

Yes that's correct. For every £1 you spend in Tesco you earn 1 point, which is 0.04p

The way to earn loads of points, is to spend time reading Paid to Shop and you will learn.

I have been doing this for a year and have earned the equivalant of £4100 after conversion, which I will be using to go to Florida next year with Virgin. Virgin don't accept deals for car hire and you have to pay the taxes with cash.

Basically I do one on-line shop for around 50.00 each week, earn 1000 points (£40.00 in deals ) and have 8 tesco e-mail accounts all with different club card numbers. If I need a bigger shop then I will do 2 with 2 different e-mail addresses. Join all the special clubs wine, food, baby (don't have any babies) and healthy living. Join up other family members as well with different address's in case you need more e-mail address's. You can swap the baby club mailings on the website for vouchers you will use. Also the more accounts you have the more mailings you get from Tesco with more point vouchers in. Tesco appear to allow 10 accounts per household (According to Hummer).

I buy things at Tesco direct when they have extra points offers on, the same with books and entertainment. Just keep reading the site and you will soon earn enough to pay for your next holiday. There are some on there who are real professionals and earn mega points. Look out for Hummer and Maverick.

The only down side is, you don't have enough time to spend over on this site. I only come on here every now and then.

Thanks Heatherbelle - I have only ever had one club card (until now). We'll be popping into Tescos to pick up more club cards. Having a family of five I often spend over £100 on food each week, working full time and running my own business I often order over the internet. Your tips are fantastic, don't think I've ever earned more than £40 in vouchers in a quarter.

You've converted me, I'm a serious points collector. Big thumbs up :thumbsup2 - I can't wait until I've saved up enough points to take the family back to Florida on club card points earned while shopping to feed them all.

You will be better off opening virtual accounts rather than the temporary cards. Open different e-mail addresses for each account, when you join there is a bit that asks for your clubcard number, tick the box to say you don't have one. Make a note of all of your e-mail addresses and account numbers. There is a thread on Paid to Shop for people new to points collecting. Also don't open them all on the same day, and make sure the surname is the same as the holiday vouchers come with your surname.

For example open one for A Smith, B, C, D etc, or use family initials, just make sure they are different, so you know which account is which. Also there is a point checked spreadsheet on the PTS site, that keeps track of your spending, points total etc.

If you drink wine, then you can earn extra points by ordering on line. Another 1000 points for every 50.00 spend.

Read the thread about the wall brackets. People are going potty buying them, they then sell them on Ebay or down at car boots. Also read the coupon thread. This tells you about coupon spending and can save you money.

Best of luck, see you over on the PTS site. I have the same user name.

Thanks - I too have the same name

just a quicky what is a virtual account ? I looked on the tesco club card site and couldn't see how to open an account online - I'll go back and have a look now.

Ah HA! I wored it out. I've registered using my business email. I'll add another in a few days time.
