Hello,

Having spent months sat on the fence about online grocery shopping I finally bit the bullet and did it last weekend.

It was great. I sat in my house when I would normally be going "wild in the aisles" ;) and a nice young man dropped it all off for me at a prearranged time. I got £5 off as it was my first order and even better I have just found another discount code which I thought might come in useful for someone here.

If you enter code XX-MDQ4 it gives £15 off if you spend £50 on groceries & expires 20/3/05. Myself and several friends have used this so far and all got the £15 off :teeth:

Just in case anyone wants it :)

Karen

This is what we have decided to do,as off next week,as lastnight I passed out at the check out :( which wasnt pleasant,I had over 5 women screaming "am I ok!" it was scary...so we hae decided to shop online, whilst I am pregnant..its becoming too much.
I will definately have a look at tescos,thats a great offer... ;)

Glad it is going well Karen. Last week I went out on the town and DH went shopping LOL ;)

Sainsbury's deliver free on Tues, Wed & Thurs if you spend over £70 and give you a £10 voucher off your next order if they are even 1 minute late, which has happened quite a few times! I hate supermarket shopping so it's well worth it for me.

If only I could trust my DH to do this - he would return with beer, DVDs and probably very little else  He went out to buy some milk last night and came back with a new coat :confused3

Di - that's interesting. I didn't know Sainsbury's was free at certain times!

Thankfully though Kaylee it wasn't from Louis Vuitton ;) or he would have been in trouble ;)

I've been doing internet shopping with Tesco since DD2 arrived on the scene - it's SO much less hassle. Bit of a pain looking up all the items I wanted to start with, but now I have my Favourites list sorted, it's great. Of course, if you already shop at Tesco and use your clubcard, then all your favourites will all be on you list when you register to shop online.

Just wish they also did midweek free delivery - but I presume that Tesco don't need to use this incentive. Thanks for the code, Karen. I might have to bring forward "shopping day" just to try and use it!!

Now all I need is for the nice Tesco man to put all my shopping away in my cupboards for me.......though maybe that's asking a bit much! Mustn't get TOO lazy!! ;)

Karen

Thanks for the code!! I have been using tesco delivery for a while now.. its great!!!

We've just taken the plunge with Asda online. Can't say that I'm really impressed since they only delivered 7 out of the 30 odd items we ordered!! Phoned the helpdesk and, as we speak, am waiting for someone to phone us back.

Looks like we'll have to try Tesco now!

Andy

Sorry to hear you've had such a bad experience - that really is incredibly bad. I know my daughter has had problems with them too. I must say I'm more than happy with the service from Sainsbury's (shame I can't get commission for this!!! :rotfl: ) and if a line is unavailable they put in a substitute item which you can always say you don't want when they deliver.

Well i have just done my shopping for next week on line and have saved £15 thanks to Karen and i didn't get all the rubbish i normally end up buying :cheer2:

Won't be doing this every week as i like to have a wander round the supermarket

Thanks again Karen

Thanks Karen

Just placed my order :):)

First time using online shopping...oh its exciting...I know I am sad ;)

Thanks for the code!

I use Tesco a lot for online shopping, had my last lot delivered this morning!

I find them very good and whenever I have a problem they refund immediately.

The only problem I have with this type of shopping is that I like to choose long 'use by' dates and I've found that sometimes the goods I get have only a couple of days left on them.

Asda and Sainsbury don't deliver to our area yet but when they do I'll certainly give Sainsbury a try.

Astrid :)
