Has anyone taken advantage of the Tesco clubcard scheme and used their points for their florida holiday??
In total when ready to book I will have been saving my clubcard points for 18 months/2 years and was going to change them into Virgin holiday vouchers and book florida, but looking at the small print they cant be used for flight only just a package holiday which may work out more expensive.
The other alternative is change them into virgin air miles, has anyone looked into doing this is it worth it??

I'm a points collector too. You have to get a full package and don't qualify for any discounts, plus you can only use £500 per person off your chosen package. I have read that a lot of people use their points for airmiles, booking airport hotels and attraction tickets.

Attractions tickets....great idea we want SWtickets too. Our last 2 trips to Florida were booked with Virgin on complete package basis so if we have loads it will cover some of the cost
Gald someone agrees Tesco CC is a worthwhile cause.

I change for airmiles :D I've done lots of dummy bookings and I hadn't quite reached the amount needed for a Florida trip (hopefully will have done next time!) BUT I did use some for the night before hotel in London and our travel insurance, so effectively getting those free :D

I would have also hired the car if it wasn't included in my package. I have thousands left over so will keep on saving them and hopefully by the next time we go we'll get a free trip! :D
