It did sound like pp was complaining. Perhaps simply letting people know so they could take care, or get the handles.

Hmm. Now I think that maybe my exclamation sounded like I was yelling at the person I responded to. I was bouncing from what they said to excitedly tell the OP and anyone reading to get the handles.

My very first tervis was from my first Disney Cruise (purchased afterwards with the help of a kind soul here), and I loved it, and I didn’t know the sunscreen problem, and my coppertone sport 30spf hazed the plastic. It was very sad.

I now have many handles.

I agree. I find the Tervis tumblers much easier to carry with a handle, besides the reason of sunscreen damage. I like the really big Tervis tumblers, so the handle is a great addition IMHO! I have actually taken a Tervis handle in my luggage before on a cruise in the hopes they would have an awesome new DCL Tervis that I would get!
