teppenyaki who do i believe???

ok i have ressi's for sept 19. allears.net says teppenyaki will open oct 15.mouseplanet says nov 1, my dreamsunlimited agent says sept 15 WHAT FOR THE LOVE OF DOLE WHIP IS GOING ON????????
has anyone called wdw dinning and got the real story?

Of course - from what I've been reading over the past few days, several hundred of us have called, and know what is going on. Just casually scan the first page of this forum, and you'll see several threads about this very subject.

Short version is that the opening is delayed until mid November, and if you already have an ADR, they WILL CALL YOU and move you to another restaurant, and more than likely give you a VIP Illuminations access pass. They're calling everyone. They can't call everyone at the same time. Be patient, and good things will happen.

And I have yet to meet a travel agent (apart from denizens of this board) who know even half of what you can find out with a basic search of the DIS boards.

We're right. Your TA is wrong!! As the previous poster said, there's usually way more info on here than your TA could even dream of!!! But I would suggest calling yourself instead of waiting to here from WDW. I called a couple of days ago and was transferred to a special line handling the ressie switch. Was offered Le Cellier and Coral Reef if I wanted them!! Also got VIP passes for Illuminations viewing that night.

Disney called today to change my 9/8 reservations.

Bummed because this was the one I was looking forward to again. We ate their on 10/06 and it was awesome.

I bust out laughing at "what for the love of dole whips is going on?" That is the funniest thing I've heard for a while
I'm in the same boat as you I just found out about Teppenyaki. I'm calling tommorrow to make the change.

it's 10/15 right now. it's officially that way on the refurb list that your TA can see online.

I had a reservation for Teppan Edo for 9-19 and I just called the special line for teppan relocation and was helped by a really nice CM who got me Le Cellier and VIP Viewing for illuminations. woo Hoo. Although I did have to wait on the line for an hour before I got through. Thank goodness it was a 1-800 number!

I also have a rezzie for Teppan Edo. Mine is for Oct. 2. I have not received a phone call yet. I notice that most posters that discuss getting calls from Disney to change a reservation have rezzies for September.

My question is: Is Disney making calls based on the chronological order (earliest rezzies first)? Has anyone who has (had) a rezzie in Oct. received a call?

I had a rezzie for a single (wife can't accompany me). Would that make a difference?
