Teppanyaki ?

How much is a meal at the Teppanyaki dining room? I am assuming that it is like most Japanese steakhouses where you pick chicken or steak or shrimp and then you get rice, vegetables, soup/sala, and desert. Is this so? Also, what will they serve to a 1 & 2 year old? Do they have priority seating? Thanks

They do have menu options similar to a Benihana type restaurant. You can find the complete menu on www.wdwig.com. The do take PS by calling WDW-DINE. We went with our about 1 year old. We brough food for her, as she was not interested in eating meat yet. She did have some rice, and she also had a fruit cup. The sit down places were very accomodating with bringing in food for the little ones, we were never given any trouble or looked at oddly.

definitely make PS for dining here. even w/PS we had to wait, but not too long.

Try Teppanyaki for lunch. The cost is about $10 cheaper per entree than dinner and the only thing missing is the udon noodles.

We had lunch here and thought it was very reasonably priced - we're going back again on New Year's Day for lunch! This place is well worth trying!

Yep, I did lunch there last trip and thought it was great and not too expensive for what I got (Shrimp & Chicken), I think my entree cost about $12-13 plus I got my AP 10% discount that way too.

We ate here last Oct with a 10 and 5 year old. We split a children's meal between the two boys with no problem. We weren't sure if the 5 year old would like anything but to our surprise he ate all my scallops! GO FIGURE!!! We had also made a priority seating that same morning with no problem. Enjoy!

LOL, Gupbrat! Many parents report the same thing. MY SIL was amazed at what her 5 1/2 years son ate at Teppanyaki on our last trip. Personally, I think he was so fasinated with the chopsticks that he would have eaten anything! Apparently, he is much more "discriminating" at home! The waitress fixed a pair of chopsticks with a rubber band for him which made them very easy to use (and apparently a lot of fun).

Teppanyaki is one of our favorite restaurants!
