If you have dined here I would appreciate your comments? DW and I are dining here has part of our CP package this year. What was your favorites at Teppanyaki?Did you think the Teppan chefs were entertaining?Did you enjoy the group seating and have a nice conversation with other guests at your table? Thanks for your replys:)

My sister and I dined here in January. She had the shrimp and steak, and I had the shrimp and scallops. Both of us enjoyed the dinner very much. Our chef was very good, but wasn't as entertaining as some of the other chefs I saw in the room. The people at our table were very nice, and we had good conversation throughout the meal. We are eating there also as part of the CP package in December, and this restaurant has become one of our must do's for each trip. I think you will really enjoy it. :p

DH and I did Teppanyaki last month. We enjoyed it, but probably won't return. There's better restaurants for the same price (even less) in World Showcase that I'd rather return to.

I had the shrimp and chicken and DH had the steak and shrimp. It was good, but nothing great. I am proud that I managed to eat w/ chopsticks for the entire meal. :)

Our chef cooked our food and that was it. Not very entertaining.

We enjoyed the group seating. It was neat because we sat w/ a family from Louisiana (about an hour away from us!) and a family from Alaska. We really enjoyed our conversation w/ the couple from Alaska.

DS and myself ate there in June of this yr. the chef as Ok, the food was good, we both had the chicken and vegtables. The people at our table were nice, come to find out they were from MA and the mother worked in my town. they were celebrating the daughters BD and shared the cake with us.I would eat there when I go back next yr. it is always nice to meet new people when on vacation.:D

Can you request an "entertaining" chef here as you can request an "entertaining" server at Prime Time???

We've eaten there and enjoyed it, but we don't have it on our must-do list as it isn't a particularly 'Disney-ized' restaurant. However, our food was very good. We each ordered different combos so we could try all the different meats. DH had a side of noodles with no veggies. They charged extra for it, but it was worth it to him as he didn't have to have onions, etc. on his plate...

We dined there in April for lunch and loved it. We were seated with a very nice family and enjoyed our conversation with them.
The food was delicious. The kids had the shrimp, DH had chicken (I think), and I had the scallops/shrimp. I highly recommend the scallops - the best I've ever had.

Hi! We ate there on Saturday night, and we will definitely return. We arrived with no PS around 7:30 and were seated within 20 minutes or so. The service was excellent. The food was very good, although not the best I have had from this type of restaurant. The boys and I really liked the steamed rice here as opposed to fried rice. DH prefers fried, though. DH and I had the tenderloin and scallops. The scallops were bay scallops instead of sea scallops, but very tasty. The tenderloin was perfect. One DS had the shrimp, and one had the steak. Both enjoyed sharing my tenderloin, as well. ;)
The hazelnut (or maybe chestnut?) cake was out of this world!! I think that is the absolute best dessert I have ever tasted. The ginger ice cream is fantastic, too.

We eat there every trip. The food is great if you like Japanese. I am not a big fan of the group seating usually, but you are at Disney World so that gives you something to talk about.

We've eaten there several times. Chefs have varied -- some were really good and others didn't have many tricks. Ditto for the other people at our table -- we've talked to some a good bit and others just a tiny bit. Food has always been great. I've had steak, shrimp and tenderloin -- all were good but the tenderloin is definitely the best. If you like red meat, make sure to get it!

I ate there for the 1st time this August for lunch and had the Chicken and Shrimp...it was very good! I didn't think it was expensive for what I got either (though the AP 10% discount helped :) ). The Chef was just ok as an 'entertainer' (afterwards we was watching a better one at the next table) but he could cook which was my chief concern, hehehe.

It is definately one of my 'go back to's' now.

We ate there in April. Our chef was very good also, but not entertaining...actually the chef on the side of him went to spin a knife in the air and catch it only it fell behind him on the floor, that made me a bit nervous!

I had the chicken/shrimp too, DH and the kids would only eat steak.

I'm glad we experienced this type of dining, it was fun, the people at our table were very nice, but like another poster said, for the money there are better choices out there.

I think you should try it just the same - have fun :D

It was one of the best meals we had at WDW in June. I had steak and shrimp, my husband, our birthday boy, had something and lobster. The brought out a very delicious and BIG birthday cake for us to share after our meal. We were very happy with that meal.

DH and I ate here with our friend in February. We had never been and our friend suggested Teppanyaki. Well we loved it! The service was out of this world. We got iced green tea (great) and the galss was never empty. I had shrimp and steak, DH and our friend had chicken and steak. Everything was excellent. Our chef was a lot of fun. He flipped a lot of stuff around and caught things in his hat, etc.. We have made a PS for November already. I may have to try those scallops!

Did anyone use Connections vouchers there? If so- how would you share? I was thinking of sharing with my DD-10 when we went.
