Any thoughts on what would be more popular for a group? I have a lunch res. for both but I need to cancel one- I just realized I made them both for the same day.

My personal choice would be Teppanyaki. Please note, if your party is 8 people or less you will be seated at one table. More than 8 and your party could be split.

Teppanyaki!
Our experience at Alfredos was below average. Tepp is a better dining choice!

I was thinking Tepp had more solid reviews than Alfredos. I've never been to either. I think we'll do Tepp so if anyone needs Alfredos for 10, I'm cancelling our Oct. 15th res.

By the way, the reservationist did tell me that they could seat our whole group together. The party size is now 9 for this res. Should I trust her? She only had one time slot that would seat 9 together. I wonder if they have one bigger table?

Is great and I need to bite my lip I can't say one good thing about Alfredo's so I will shut up.::yes:: :wave2:

Alfredo's is horrible. When we went the service was extremely slow and the food was horrible. I haven't been to Tepp but I am going to try it in dec.

Hmm... given the reviews of Alfredos and our experience at Teppanyaki I will say NEITHER.
Benihana is 100 x better than Teppanyaki in terms of quality. The food was bland and tough.

Teppanyaki is one of our favorites and is great for a group og 8 or less. Enjoy! ::MickeyMo

My local Japanese steakhouse IMHO is better than Tepp--and I've never been to Alfredo's.

Might I suggest another route and going French, Moroccan or even Mexican! I don't know--just was really disappointed--I guess b/c I expected a little more "mouse house" comedy like back when I was a kid and the steakhouse where I lived at the time--the guys made mickey mouse out of oil when they started cooking. Hadn't seen it since then and wrongly expected it at Tepp.

On the other hand--steakhouse dining in general is a lot of fun for a group--so perhaps your chef will be more comical than in my experience.

Those are my two favorite restaurants in Epcot! I would think that Teppanyaki would be more fun for a big group though.

We love the Teppanyaki. They can sit more than 8 at a table. We had 10 people at our table in July. The youngest was 9 years old. I prefer it over Alfredo's.

Each chef is different. Some are more friendly and have more of a show than others.
