Teppan Edo

It is open, I have ADRS there for March. I have not eaten there since 2005 but it was really good for us. Keep in mind that they dont give fried rice with the meal, instead it is steamed white rice. Im looking forward to going back!

We ate there twice a couple of weeks ago. It is really good. Everything was remodeled last summer, and the new decor looks really nice.

We went to Teppan Edo shortly after it opened in October. There were 10 of us and we all enjoyed it. It was one of the best meals we had during our 10 day stay!

We too ate there in October shortly after they opened from their remodelling. We love it there. It is great fun, the atmosphere is wonderful and the service is quick and appropriate. The chef prepares your dinner at the grill right at your table. This is part food prep and part entertainment.
The room is beautiful, but know that you will be seated with others if you are a party of less than 8.
In October we had:
I had the Assorted Tempura - shrimp, chicken breast and seasoned vegetables with a Japanese dipping sauce for an appetizer. Even though I don't like fried shrimp (DH does:rotfl: ) this was great. DH and DS had for an appetizer Garden Salad. This is a vast improvement over the old salad. It was large, fresh and great.
For Entrees we had: Me Nihonbashi - sirloin steak and chicken breast This was great. A disappointment for me after the reopening was the removal of all of the scallop combination meals. I always got a scallop and sirloin meal. But I went knowing this and I was happy.
DH and DS had Asakusa - sirloin steak and large shrimp and they enjoyed this very much.
We love Teppan Edo and would recommend it to everyone.

My dad is a picker eater when he has to eat out. Japanese restaurants in my area prepare the food right in front of you on the grill. I know it will be a perfect choice one night for dinner.

Is the place open for lunch?

Our neighbors were there in November and said it was their favorite meal of their trip. Kids had a good time watching the food prep...kids were 10, 8, 6, and 3.

We ate there in December and we loved it. Our 2 DD's still talk about the experience. We got there an hour early and they still managed to get us seated in 5 minutes.

YES! We have our ADR's set for 12 pm.

We ate there in December on a whim, and we LOVED this place! We walked up one night and asked if there was availability, and there was. We all had the chicken & shrimp combo and really enjoyed it! Oh, my one MUST HAVE tip... get the edamame... :lovestruc I am now so hooked on this stuff that I buy it every week at Kroger.

This was a fun place to eat, we met some nice people, and we left the place feeling good because we hadn't eaten 5000 calories! There was plenty of food, but it wasn't the heavy sort that leaves you miserable afterwards.
