Ok so I have an ADR at teppan edo on may 5h,out first day in disney...but I just made one for ohana's may 5th at 8:45 for dinner, party of six after seeinf pictures on the food pron thread,i saw a drink called sunken treasure and I thought of my dad instantly, look's like something he will enjoy,me too.

So I originally picked Teppan Edo because DF has always wanted to try it,he loves sushi and likes Hibache grills. So I talked him out of it and told him we can just go there for lunch sometime during our stay.

I also want to get him a groom's cake that night,a surprise for him,I'm thinking of getting him a donald duck cake. I think the atmosphere will be better ast Ohana's for this.

So do you think Ohana's is a good choice over Teppan Edo? I can go to a hibache anywhere at home.
oooh and the fireworks go off at nine so I'm hoping we can see them while we are eating.

I just came back and we ate at Teppan Edo... the food is very good, fresh and cooked in front of you with a little show that is always fun. You will be seated with other people if your party does not fill their table and we had always enjoyed that part of the meal, meeting new people and eating with them.

I have not done O'Hana's in a while, and when we did, we liked it. I have read many different reviews on this restaurant, sometimes good, sometimes bad....I think it is an interesting experience and always timed around the fireworks at MK.

Good luck with your decision.

We have a teppan grill in our neighborhood too, and while it doesn't quite have the ambiance of TE, it's significantly less expensive. So, I'm always hard-pressed to go to TE (and Teppanyaki before it). Instead, I like to pick things that I can't really replicate here at home.

Amusingly, that means we sometimes go to San Angel for medicore Mexican, because here in Ann Arbor, the only thing we can get is really bad Mexican.
