My husband and I have eaten sushi and had things like Teriyaki/Tempuro (spelling?? sorry!) at Japanese restaurants, but Hibachi is totally new to me.

We have ressies for 12/22 at 1:45 at Teppan Edo and have no idea what to expect food-wise. I have heard rave reviews and DH and I love to watch the Japanese cooks make sushi, so I'm sure we love it.

Can anyone give me an idea of the food?

Thanks so much!

They usually do it like a little show- where perhaps they chop the shrimp off and catch it in their hat- light little volcano's on the grill etc... It's cute depending on who your chef is. Basically like someone said- it is grilled meat, chicken or shrimp with veggies cooked in a terriyaki type like sauce.

We ate here this week and it was great. Food and service was teriffic. Would definately go back.
