We did this last week for the first time. I am allergic to shrimp, I can be in the same room just can't digest it. After informing the hostess who listed it on our paper the drink server mentioned it and said manager would be out. He did come out and my meal was made in the kitchen using clean utensils (no prior grill cooking etc where it may be in contact w/ shrimp.) Now I am only allergic to shrimp, NO other seafood. When ordering my salad I coldn't decide which dressing so asked for 2 on the side. The manager came running out w/ the notebook, he had checked my order and found that one of the salad dressings had tuna "spice" in it so he took it off my order. Wasn't really needed but he was so proud that he had found that so it was hard to burst his bubble so I thanked him and settled for one dressing.
Sorry its long but I guess the point is as long as you can be in the same room I think you would be fine as they seem to be VERY thorough about the allergies. Even the hibachi cook mentioned "I've got you covered" when he first came out to cook .
While it was very pricey ($150 for 3 people

) it was definately worth the money. The filet mignon was the best I've ever had!! We have decided next time to do the sit down restaurant and not the hibachi area as our cook wasn't so funny. My dd11 said it was the best ever!!
