Teppan Edo ? about chicken & beef

I was wondering what the Teppan Edo chicken and beef are like? Are they like terriyaki chicken & beef or something else? I am not sure i have had "teppan" food but i have eaten "terriyaki" chicken and beef at japanese restaurants b4?

How are the portion sizes? Would the chicken/beef combo be enough for two adults for dinner or lunch?

Also how is the miso soup??

I think they have cut the portions a bit....and have taken a few things away that were included in the meal before. One is the salad is now ala carte and use to be included and also with the stir fry, they no longer stir fry the sprouts and add them to the plate with cooked veggies... just eliminated them..

OK, now to the portions, are we talking two adults here, because quite frankly everyone in my family can finish the whole plate.. talking three daughters, me and my husband. Also, the chicken or beef is stir fried in front of you on a huge stove like table....I believe they use butter, soy sauce and some oil while cooking so not teriyaki...

The miso soup is good.. I do not have any pictures, but this is one of the restaurants that we always go back to.. We love the freshness of the foods and how they are prepared in front of you..

We really like Yakitori house. I love the chicken terriyaki and the ginger cake. Now I'm definitely not an afficionado of japanese food but we all really enjoy it. And it's a really nice, relatively tranquil atmosphere - depending on when you go.
