1. Security--Would it be possible for someone with a scanner to get credit card info from people's MBs as they walk around the park? We put our passports in an RFID shield when we travel.

2. Water--Can MBs be worn in the pools?

Thanks!

Sorry, Title should be Two not Teo.

1. No. (Despite what the tin-foil hat crowd says.) There is nothing but a unique identifier that Disney uses to access your info on secure servers.

2. Yes.

Hello.

My name is Teo.

I'm a non-complainer.

Any questions for me?

;)

1. the only link is to your account on a secure server.

2. You can wear them into the pool. The RFID chip will not be damaged. However the MB itself may become very soggy and may even melt or fall apart.

3. To edit a title, do the following:

A. Click on the <EDIT> button at the lower right of the post.

B. At the next screen click on the <GO ADVANCED> button.

C. This will take you to another screen that will allow you to do edits to any part of the post, including the title or add in emoticons, etc.

D. Click on <SAVE>.

This is beyond incorrect. MBs are 100% waterproof. They do not melt in any circumstance or fall apart.

They are designed to be worn in the pool.

Darn it. I just spent like five minutes googling, to try to figure out what on Earth could have an acronym of MB or MBS and would melt or fall apart in water. I've got nothing. *shakes fist*

I think the important word in Cheshire's post is "may". He used it twice. It's an important word.

Those things *could* happen. Probably not likely, but they could.

And, if he's being serious, well, he does work at the waterparks, and who knows what he's seen happen with them?

Wicked Witch of the West? (not an acronym, but...).

We wore ours in the pool no issues...but keep an eye on them. We also fished one out of the pool that someone left behind and turned it in, and I've seen some reports of others finding or losing them in pools. Just be sure everyone still has theirs on when they leave the pool area. They also can pop open if you catch them on something, so if you go to a water park definitely keep an eye on them.

The only thing we found about them, is that they stretched out some as the week went on and we had to lock them into tighter holes toward the end of the week. Didn't realize it until I put DD's on her wrist one morning in the holes I had been using every day and it slid right off onto the floor. DH and mine's both stretched out too.

I know he works there. That's why I asked if he was really serious!!! LOL

I know that MB stands for Magic Band, in the context that the OP used it. :) I was just trying to figure out exactly what sort of MB Cheshire Figment could have been referring to, as I didn't think it could possibly be Magic Band in that context! Though I suppose bumbershoot is right, the word "may" could be the key there. Anything *could* happen I guess. LOL
