Tents and thunderstorm safety -- what do you do?

We've camped quite a few times, and have been fortunate to have only been caught in one really severe t-storm.

What IS the safest (and WDW-accepted) thing to do if a really bad storm comes in overnight when you're tenting it? Sit it out in your car? Go to the comfort station? Drive to a resort and hang out in the lobby until it passes?

I "think" the paperwork directs you to go to a comfort station.
