Tentative Frozen Ride Date Announced

I am wondering how this will affect EPCOT scheduling with FP+, which I felt we had pretty well figured out - 2 days at EPCOT, Soarin' FP+ one day, Test Track the other. This is bound to be another Tier 1, and one that my kids will be desperate to ride when we return next summer. That is, if they actually finish on schedule. Not holding my breath based on their past track record.

I would love to see them rework the tiers, but I don't know that we will get that with the addition of this one ride. I don't think it will add enough capacity to ride-depleted EPCOT warranting any sort of major restructuring or (hope of all hopes) eliminating of the tiers. My guess is it just replaces Living with the Land as a tier 1, bumping LwtL back to Tier 2.

I think it may depend when they get the third theater at Soarin' open. I wouldn't be surprised to see Soarin' drop to tier 2 after the new theater is open and be replaced by the Frozen ride in Tier 1.

Agreed. Hopefully it will move some of the crowds to that end of the park from Futureworld although I would not be surprised that it will just add to the crowds at EPCOT. I doubt we'll even bother unless it's 30min or less to walk on unless it ends up being a spectacular ride.

I wonder if they will put FP on the Mexico ride with all of the added traffic around that part of World Showcase. I always wonder why that doesn't have one when Captain EO does.

then do the FP+ the frozen ride one day and soarin the other.

Well aren't they supposed to be adding another screen to Soarin as well? We're not returning to WDW until 2017 but I'm hoping these two Epcot projects will be done by then.
